Boneless animals?

I just downloaded the new version and it look like slaughtered animals dont have any bones.I could track down their skulls,their fat and meat,but the bones simply dont appear.Any help for this?

Maybe your dwarves are grabbing them as soon as the pop up?

I have also noticed that turtle brought with you when starting a new fort no longer has bones also... This is with the new a version. sometimes slaughtered mules have bones but horses don't seem too...

Noticed when I gen'd a new world the bones and shells are back... maybe it was somehow reading something wrong somewhere in old saves... ah well back to tons upon tons of shell/bone crafts lol.

Any other news on this?  I didn't change anything directly related to item production, if I remember.

Looks like I found them bones..they were made into crossbows,but it was kinda weird,because I ordered two of them and I got the message "need bones",so I thought the bones disappeared.Still,those two crossbows were made

I haven't had a single problem with it since I gen'd the new world. The game that messed was a couple versions old and turtle was being eaten/shown as a red meat symbol rather than the normal green shell and was leaving no bones (had no other food source as I had just started a new fort) but when I made a new world it was working normally... I don't think I still have that old world though.
