I'll say it again, both! I admire Dwarf Fortress from it's stunning depth and brutal yet textualized violence. I enjoy Minecraft because it's creative and relaxing and ssssssssSS...

Both have so much to offer... that's why I decided to combine them. If you download my Minecraft texture pack then you can make it look like Dwarf Fortress

I don't understand this "you can't compare them" mentality. Judge them based on the reason you play them. If there is no reason in common, then you cannot compare them.

I like apples more then oranges. I find apples to be more crunchy, something I admire in a food, and less messy to eat due to the juice from oranges. I also enjoy the less overly sweet taste, and not having to peel them provides another nice benefit.

There, I just compared apples and oranges! Notice I NEVER said apples were better, just that I liked them more. You can compare any two things, like I could say I like living in a house more then I like owning a green shirt, two totally unrelated things, you can even say what one is better in your opinion, but you can't really just say one is better.

So, with this in mind, anybody who says you can't compare the two, GROW A PAIR DAM IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you like minecraft more then DF then I'm ok with that, I mean MC has multi-player, so maybe you get a greater sense of achievement when your progress is as part of a team, but don't just get all high and mighty by taking the middle ground and saying all others are wrong for trying to compare them.
