Alright, I got a embark area ready for us, here is the DFMA link; Paperscale Embark Area

The one issue is the lack of trees, but it is a freezing area, it has a volcano, and terrifying.

Can always get wood from the caravans, if they manage to survive the trip there.

I like it. Looks like it can work out quite well.

Alright, I got a embark area ready for us,
Who is "us"? Which dwarves did you take? What are the stone layers and biomes of the embark site? Can you see any creatures in the unit screen, and if so what are they? What civilizations are we next to?

I don't see any water on the map, which means the nearest farming is probably going to be the caverns. Or perhaps we could breed livestock and buy booze. But the caravans don't generally bring enough booze. Yeah, we're gonna need a still up and running eventually.

Er. Can someone make a PoI at the wagon on the map? DFMA hates me and scrolling there is a real pain (especially on mountains).

Having a trouble setting it, its asking for some values that I dont even have the option to set. There is no actual wagon, but our dwarves and items are all located on a single square at the very peak of the mountain. I'm having second thoughts about this embark sight, but hey, isn't that a sign of FUN?

Biomes are a haunted mountain shown in the below picture, and a wilderness tundra. Neither have any sort of trees. Nearby civilizations.

(Hah, nice mountain name, and a hint at what will happen to my dwarves as they walk near the volcano in the volcano name.)

Indeed. Im just savescumming the embark right now, checking up on anything. We are only a screen away from "Kokror", a shrine guarded by a mountain titan composed of vomit.

Oh, and a Upright Adamantine Shortsword

This will end well.

So...all the stuff is on top of the mountain. I guess...dwarven wagons fly, and crashed on the summit. Hm.
