The professor seems to be crying inexplicably (presumably something very horrible is happening somewhere), but then proceeds to get a giant gift from the trunk of the car.
You are still standing in the doorway like some catatonic chimpanzee.

Whats wrong are the martians invading again? you ask. "no my boy it's just that your father left a box of onions in the car when he left and we only just threw them out."

"Is that for me?" you ask the professor as he struggles to lift the huge box. "Why yes it is my boy, how did you know?" he answers. He hands it to you, and you almost collapse from its weight before you regain your balance.

You scamper to your room as fast as your comical legs can carry y- WHAT'S THIS? You have been tripped by your nefarious cousin who was pestering you while he was standing at the door, which you failed to open in a socially acceptable timeframe.

You attempt to get up and show Mr. Leather jackets whats what but he drops another long flat present on your back knocking you down again.

You begin to attempt to open it but you suddenly remember that your father has always told you to wait for everyone to arrive before you open the gifts

You decide to be impolite and open it anyway. It is a... huge inflatable carrot? WTF? And for some reasons, it is making that strange rattling noise when you move it around.

You run down to the door and pick up your cousin's long flat gift.

You proceed tearing apart the wrapping paper of the long flat cousin-gift. It's a broadsword! You don't quite understand why you didn't notice it's distinct sword shape before, as it was packed rather tightly, but you are more concerned with it's weight. It is rather heavy, you have to use two hands to swing it at anything.

You look at the carrot and notice a button hidden on it. You press it and the lower part retracts replacing itself with a tube shape and straps come out of it. You realize that its... A JETPACK

You strap yourself in and press the START button. A burst of flames erupt from the lower tube and you soar into the sky. Haha, the people on the ground look like ants from up here!
