Accidentally attack dwarven liason

Ok I accidentally attacked the dwarven liason (his entry was right next to the forgotten beast) and by the time I noticed it it was too late. Now it appears that, as usual, I have a full-blown riot. Is there ANY way to save this fortress? Or Am I doomed to the tantrum spiral.

EDIT: Nevermind, Goblin ambush put the riot to rest.
