As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

FUCKING MIGRANTS! WE DONT HAVE THE FOOD FOR YOU GO AWAY!

My god...we used to have eleven dwarves, now we have BLOODY FORTY!

Spring brings lots of migrants. The most I ever got though (in my admitidly small time of frotress playing) was 20 or so.

Basically, unless you kill few dwarves and produce absolutely nothing, Second spring brings too many migrants. My personal record is 25, though there are cases where some players have gotten over 40 dwarves in one migrant wave. I think those wave happened in 40d though.

Yes, skip me by this point...

I have absolutly no time on my hands for DF...

I can still go on the forums, but there will be no Dwarf Fortress, will upload the life saving changes i have done in a minute
