My first guy died after wandering into a minotaur maze to see what was there.  Maybe that should be another rule: 11) When you happen across a lair in the wilds, you have to go inside.  But you don't have to go to straight a lair if someone tells you where it is.

Holy ****!
I decided to jump on this bandwagon, and created Omgok Boyorgans (Don't blame me, it was random-genned!! :( )
The Despair Of Virginity, an axe-wielding barbarian, and got sent to kill a gloom hag consort.
Stripping off to display his huge muscles as he walked, Omgok made his way to the lair and charged in.
So... Fighting the consort, dum-de-dum, should be easy...  Oh no, what's that down the tunnel?!!
Long story short, this indestructible badass ended up killing the consort, the hag, and the hag's child! Awesome!

I think minotaurs are tweaked (but it's a good thing) or some minotaurs are just badass lol, loincloth conan the barbarian killing a minotaur would be awesome and hard

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

This is not nearly as difficult as I'd anticipated- dwarf swordsman, three bandits down so far..

I usually get around 50 kills before some BS attack takes me down. Also steel or no steel if done properly they are nothing....start by wrestling there weapon from them or disabling them in any similar matter and they are as hard as a groundhog (with the exception of the occasional well placed hand to hand strike)

I usually start with the legs or feet or something similar to get em on the ground and this applies a large penalty to em right off the bat

Well, that didn't last long. First this guy broke some of my ribs with his maul, and then proceeded to smash my head in :-\
