So I came back from killing my third dragon and some of my men dropped dead in the courtyard so being poorly outfitted I picked up a bronze helm, put it on, and it starting melting my face off. I can only assume it was super heated from the dragon battle but wow. So random.

Did you die or did you just get scars and burns all over your face and yeah dragons can melt bronze and such and blood can also boil etc...

No, nothing like that, it just said my face started melting and I was bleeding. It was just the fat though, nothing serious and I took off the helm when I figured it out. Belay that, my right foot suddenly started burning as well. I've no idea whats going on anymore.

I wouldn't know, I've haven't survived an encounter with a dragon yet, haha.

Thats what I thought, it then happened a few days later to my right sandel though. And no, there is some dragon blood on me, but not on the burned areas. Its pretty strange I gotta say.

The biome around it could be - Just ask the game to tell what temperature it is, i cant remember what button it is, though its in the keymaps.

Thats a good point. I still claim it was the dragon though, superheating the clothing, cause it stopped when I took off the stuff on those areas, and I'd never had a problem with bursting into flame in that castle any of the other 50 times I was in there.

Actually, i just remembered; 1 question...
Did you, and im serious, did you drink any dragon blood?

Because that could be interesting if it had an odd composition, perhaps heating you up in advance, to the point that wearing these things tips you just over boiling point?

Items in your inventory still effect your tempreture, so they can still burn you.

Well not wet with rain anyways, covered in a ton of blood? Yes. But like I said the dragon blood wasn't on the burning parts. Also no I didn't drink it, I didn't think that would be a smart idea. It happened once in the fortress and then a few days later walking around another one.
