I just can't get myself to dual-wield. I can think of a thousand cool combinations, but in the end it just seems like I'm served perfectly with a crossbow/shield combo and a juicy halberd as backup. Sure, you might go whip/scourge, or spear/scimitar, or morningstar/flail, or maul/greataxe, or 2HS/2HS for shits and giggles...but I leave that to the !!Scientists!!, personally.

Well, i have found one time that i has severed a breast of a harpy... but as far as i know, i tryed for the adventure mode create system, the castes/races seems interesting but i preffer vanilla for fortress mode... and never read/think that the mod contain anything perv, i think that you are overreacting

The equipment thing is ancient, and I mean ancient. You're not telling anyone anything they don't already know. For an 8 year old game, it's probably safe to assume what you've noticed in a month of playing is probably known.

Perhaps, buf i never ever have read something about the shield stack, and the other post entitles "Combat tips, tricks and exploits" and doesnt have a single trick/exploit in the entire thread

All the stuff Genesis does is planned by Toady. He's not going to use someone's mod to create content. He's going to do it himself.

I think that toady rocks, but if you read how is planned to be, and compare it to this mod (or the other where has been copied from) is almost exactly like that, and by adding a minor fix to suit te devs desires, is JUST a couple lines of tex, that change A LOT of how the adv mode is right now (besides the hability to dig/build, that will be a major change of everything)

It is slightly sexual in you can lob off genitals and breasts but thats more for comedy than anything. Maybe cause there is something satisfying in slashing a mans dong off and beating him to death with it, but regardless it's isn't even very sexual and it's more like violence with a little sprinkle of nudity in it.

Finding Sites: Don't bother looking for Dwarf Fortresses right now, other than ones created by the player. They don't exist. I've wasted HOURS of time IRL looking for them.

Mmm, I modded dwarves to have/start mountain towns & build fortifications...

Now there are World Gen made Dwarf Fortresses/Castles for me to go to & recruit dorfy mercenaries. I also tricked some elves to go inside with me once...results we're predictable, yet fun to watch.

I would say your best bet is to keep a couple companions with you at all times. The new version (31.21) makes this obscenely difficult since fortresses are always entirely empty and peasants need to be coaxed by your previous successes. However I haven't yet been attacked by bogeymen while traveling alone for several weeks, so that's one issue you won't need to address with reinforcements.

And as stated multiple times by many different people; Never take on multiple opponents at the same time, even if you're just throwing rocks from a safe distance while sneaking. Somehow they'll spot you.
