Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

Just for curiosity... are you actually serious about this?  Normally I'd just pass it off as a joke, but if you actually mean it, then I'm rather interested in your reasoning.

They will have you drinking cyanide-laced exclusivity of little polystyrene cups. Run.

Just curious, why do you see this as a benefit?

I'll graduate 2 years earlier?

Also, they don't believe in homework so they just do projects

You better watch that reasoning. I went to the Gifted Education Center during elementary school which gave no homework, but you also have to do a 45-50 minute research project every year. At third grade. (I did it on bunnies)

I would assume a private school would have you do more research papers and learn at an accelerated pace. You'll get much more out of your education, though you'll have to work for it.

That's true, but a lot of college students actually enjoy college and would be sad if it was already over after 2 years.  Classes are almost secondary in college -- it's also where many people transition from adolescence to adulthood.  It's a chance to live without your parents and make tons of friends, without the same day-to-day worries that you'll have in that legendary "real world."

Sounds awful.

I went to a highschool with around 200 students total, across two campuses, half-day program. It's incredibly difficult to do anything besides what people expect if you don't want to be pigeon-holed. You might think that's fine now, but it gets very irritating after four years of the same people with no escape. What you describe sounds more like a reality show than anything else.

That said, chainsaw garden. You'll get sick of it, and be able to laugh at how enthusiastic you were about it later.

(also, yeah, cult is a real possibility here)

Yeah I'm wondering what the hell kind of school this is.  Are they religiously affiliated?  Do they have a website?  How is their tuition so low with that high a teacher-student ratio?

And yeah, 8 people in one grade already forces you to be close-knit.  8 people across all seven grades?  That's not school, that's being homeschooled by an adopted family.

Presumably you don't want to link it due to the fact it'll let us know who you are?

Also, they don't believe in homework so they just do projects.

I wouldn't see that as a positive thing.
We've been having some serious projects in my last school.

Deadlines, moronic team members, a crapload of work, dead ends, frustration and stress awaits you.

Trust your own judgment, but have a backup plan if you need to bail on this place.

Heh, found the school site after some Google-fu. Maybe I should become Footkerchief's apprentice.

Obviously, it would be dickish to post it here without asking x2 first, so I won't.
