Alright, CJ, you're on the list. Magus, AIs are illegal in Citadel space. The Council would
never hire one, especially one created by Cerberus. They'd just have it scrapped. Sorry, but you're gonna need a different character.
-----
Mark Omega on the Galaxy map. (Auto action)
Read the information sent to my terminal.
I attempt to split a piece of paper in half with biotics. For practice on a new, self made technique.
[Free Action] "Got it," Telyl chirps in. She proceeds to ask Citadel flight control for clearance to launch. It is granted, and after a minute of checking if everything is working as they should be, the docking clamps are released, and the
Red Dawn backs out of the docking bay. It heads for the Mass Relay, and you feel a bit of a jolt as it makes the jump.
You're on your way to the Sahrabarik system, in the Omega Cluster.[Free Action] You check your terminal, and you see that Goronak hon'Verool's profile has been sent to you. He was born in one of the Batarian Hegemony's lower castes, and knowing how totalitarian the Hegemony is, being of such low standing in society guarantees a hard life for you. To get out of it, he enlisted in the Hegemony marine corps. Goronak rose through the ranks at an impressive rate. He was respected by his fellow troops for his determination, charisma and skill, but he was also ruthless and unforgiving.
In the early 2170s, he grew frustrated with the Hegemony's unwillingness to take direct action against the Alliance, and left the military with his species' equivalent rank of a Systems Alliance 2nd Lieutenant. Goronak gathered several unlawful types and began staging raids on Alliance colonies. Most of them were beaten back, but a few were successful. The profile states that he's currently staying in the Segat district on Omega. He's got plenty of armed mercs, mechs and fellow slavers backing him up. Getting to him will not be easy.
[Impossible Action] You're an Infiltrator. You don't have, and never had, the potential to be a biotic. (If you wanted to use both biotics and tech, you should've gone with the Sentinel class. Sorry, man.)
Head to the Armory and begin improving the quality of my shotgun and make sure my armor is in working order.
[5][4] You managed to add a Kinetic Stabilizer to your shotgun. Your shotgun is more accurate now! (+1 to accuracy [Note: Anything higher than this would probably make fights too easy, so I think +1 upgrades to weapons are the most you'll get])
Your armor's looking solid, too. You're set.
See what I can do about maximizing weapon power output.
[2] You are unable to upgrade your weapons for now. You'll have to wait until you come back from Omega. (Did you mean your own weapons or the ship's weapons? Since you're an engineer, I wasn't sure.)
Head down to the crew quaters and gamble with any off-duty crew members.
[6] You find a few turian crew members who are off-duty. They accept your offer, and you start playing a card game. The winner takes the pot. You
dominate them, winning 500 credits and the respect of some of the players. However, the others don't take their losses very well. They think you cheated. You might want to be careful from now on, because they may come after you at some point.
Go to a quiet part of the ship like a observation gallery or holds and practice biotics.
[4] You find an observation deck, and there's no one around to interrupt you. Perfect. You grab a few objects lying around the room with your biotics and begin to practice with them. You also meditate a fair bit. You have good control over your biotics. They'll come in handy when the team runs into trouble.
Maintainence on the Eezo core
[5] You don't just maintain the Eezo core, you
make improvements. It is now more powerful and efficient, giving the
Red Dawn a boost in maneuverability! The other engineers are amazed by this. You've definitely earned their respect. (+1 to ship maneuvers)
Kaguro heads to check on the ships sensors while simply nodding to the others
[2] You check the ship's sensors...wait a minute. They're
offline?! How can this be? You let Derek know, and the ship comes out of FTL so the engineers can make repairs. Luckily, it's nothing serious, and you're on your way again. Still, this is preposterous. How did everyone fail to notice this? If you were attacked while they were offline, you would've been screwed.
------
After a few days of travel, you finally reach the Sahrabarik system. It doesn't take long for you to reach Omega. The station glows ominously in the dark void of space. Several ships can be seen coming and going to it, and most of them are armed. You can tell that this place is a hellhole just by looking at it. What sane person would want to live here? The
Red Dawn docks at the station, and you all prepare to head out, loading your weapons and armor. As you walk up to the airlock, Telyl turns back to you, smiles and gives you a thumbs up.
"Good luck in there. Try not to get yourselves killed, 'kay?"
You all head into the station. The smell, oppressive red lighting and dirty inhabitants confirm your suspicions. Most of the people you see here are packing a weapon of some sort, and they eye people passing them by suspiciously. It's a dog-eat-dog world here, so you should use caution. You aren't going to walk all the way to the Segat district, so you take a shuttle.
Goronak's base of operations isn't too far from here, but launching a frontal assault would be suicide. There has to be another way in. Perhaps you could ask the locals for information or scout things out. These are only a few options, of course. You've got multiple ways to go about this. What will you do?
