Make a combat drone to distract the guards, then run and get my explosives.
[4] With a few taps on your omni-tool, your combat drone is created. You send it over to the merc fireteam. They are obviously alarmed by its presence, and they attempt to search for the source, but the drone starts firing bolts at them whittling down their shields. They are forced to focus on it for the time being.
[3] You rush out to get your explosives, but you only manage to grab a few before a sniper's bullet zips by right above your head, forcing you to fall back to Taric and Krath.
Pull back and attempt to snipe enemies from a distance, through widows if nessicary.
[2] You are unable to find a good sniping position. You hear gunfire coming from the side of the building. Some of the mercs must've found the demolition team. You need to get a good view if you want to help them.
Find some cover and shoot again.
[1] You can't find any nearby cover, and when you pull the trigger again, it only clicks in response. Fortunately, the weapon is not jammed. You just forgot to load a new thermal clip.
Rip a grenade out of my vest and toss it towards the three man fireteam. Doing things subtle is for wimps.
[4] You pull the pin (or press the button...whatever you need to do to prime a Mass Effect grenade) and throw. Your aim is solid as it lands near the mercs! [4] After three seconds, the grenade blows, throwing out shrapnel in all directions. You and your comrades are out of the blast radius. Obviously, the fireteam isn't so lucky. They are all knocked down by the blast! The fireteam leader dies almost immediately as a piece of shrapnel rips through his head and into his brain, nearly cleaving his cranium in half. The second merc is knocked unconscious. He has several lacerations on his limbs and upper chest, and there are several fragments lodged in his body.
The last one has wounds similar to the second merc, but he's still conscious, despite being in immense pain right now. He takes several ragged breaths as he manages to prop himself up on an elbow.
Alert the commander I've found the grate and have it open shortly, then procced to bust it open with biotics
You inform Derek of your discovery, unaware that he is currently stuck in a firefight. When you finish your transmission, you close your eyes, take a deep breath, and your body begins to glow with biotic energy. [5+1=6] Your eyes open, and they are shining with blinding biotic light. Raising both hands, you focus on removing the obstacle in your path. You succeed with flying colors, easily tearing the barrier away from the entrance and dumping it on the side. The way is now clear, but that took a lot out of you. It'll take some time for you to regain your energy. Until then, you'll be a little slow on the draw. (Fatigued: -1 to all actions for two turns)
Take out my submachine gun and spray Merc 2
[4] You whip out your Tempest and fire a hail of rounds at the Sentinel's abdomen! [5] They easily punch through his armor, horribly mangling his internal organs! A few rounds hit his chest, shattering two ribs and punching a hole in his lung. The merc lets out a wet gurgle as he falls onto his back, weakly clutching his mortal wound. A pool of blood is rapidly forming around him. He won't last longer than a minute.
Get to a safe distance from the explosives
[4] You manage to get out of the blast range, finding a good piece of cover. Now you can blow it, though you should wait for your allies to move out of range, as well.
Get the hell out of here!
The mercenary stares in shock as his cohort collapses in a bloody heap.
"...Oh God."
And he begins to sprint...away from Derek and Charnak. He's scared shitless.
"Fuck this, man!
FUCK! THIS!"
Some merc he is.
Try to fight back.
[5-2=3] He shakily raises his Edge pistol at Kitonn and fires a shot. The bullet strikes his right forearm... [1] ...for a negligent amount of damage to his shields.
The mercenary has a coughing fit. "Agh...medic! Someone! Aaargh...!" He looks back at Keith, Taric and Kitonn. "Bastards," He hisses.
