So as far as I can see, for more information, we have two options

We can all agree not to place any bets, and simply say that we are finished.

Or we can all bet on the same person, and see what happens.

The first option would be informative, but would probably be manipulated by the ne'ev-do-wells... assuming they have any more info than we do. :/
