My game progresses, I should have it done by tomorrow.

As a preview, expect battle with Muscovy, the formation of Russia, and shenanigans in Africa!

Can I take the next turn in this? I'm on HTTT on Steam.

Apparently Divine Wind is coming out on Steam in January.

Sure I'll sign you up.

Progress seems halted in the HttT game. I'm updating the list. Turns out it's Hyo's turn right now, since I didn't notice earlier that mainiac bailed, sorry.

I did it I did it!

THE NETHERLANDS: Now an Administrative Republic!

I shall tell the tale of the Netherlands. Apparently seceding from Holland after a succession war, for a long while, it remained a OPM. I moved to change that. I colonized, and conquered, a large amount of East Africa, and put down some colonies in North America and the Carribean. I also beat Muscovy.

How you say? How did I beat the magnificent bear? I lost. I never could have beaten Russia's manpower, so I did the smart thing. I waited. For years the homeland lay occupied by the Russian scum, and I lay waiting as Muscovy's WE slowly accumulated. After 2 years had passed, they accepted (begrudgingly) a white peace. Of course, not everyone was happy about being occupied for 2 years. Especially the Reformed Dutch living in Holland.

They raised a huge army, and swiftly moved to "liberate" both Holland and Zeeland. Being able to do nothing, they hung the king and turned the Netherlands into a Glorious Administrative Republic. They also decided that Reformed Christianity was the one True Faith, and made it the state religion.

Years passed, and the "mighty" Songhai Empire was laid to waste by the Dutch. Now the Dutch controlled East Africa.

Wanting to unite all the dutch, in late 1579 the Netherlands went to war with the Archbisophric of Utrecht. Being the Holy Roman Emperor, the king of Ireland deicded to intervene.

And that's the game. You could take Russia, as they have formed, and have fun forming the glorious Russian Empire. Great Britain would be fun, going up against France in the New World. Also, there seems to be a major power in India. They might be fun to play as well.

EDIT: Whoops, forgot the save.

Good job inteuniso. No one has ever taken a OPM before.

Ming are big indeed. Apparently thanks to the westernization they got real early. Once they turn into Manchu someone can have a turn as that huge blob. 30 year WC anyone :P ?

Oh fffffffffff-

WHAT the HELL is with Ming? That seems larger than when I'd originally left it... I now feel bad and foolish at calling the AI stupid and an idiot. Still, I'm hoping that they won't be pushed back by rebels out of Russian territory. The Ming AI has a terribly nasty habit of racking of WE and going suicidal. Or by Russia, for that matter. In any case, if Ming turns into Manchu/Qing someday...

In any case, congratulations with your Netherlands, there. Nice play, :)

Well, in any case, apologies for the delay... regarding HTTT. Guess I'm to blame after all. Now where *is* the HTTT save..

How would you guys say EU2 compares to this? My graphics card can't handle the third one sadly, so I was wondering if getting number 2 would be worthwhile.

Number 2 is a lot more historically restricted than EUIII. Apparently you will never get maps like the one above in EUII. Also, what graphics card are you using that can't handle something as graphically unimpressive as EU3?

I've picked up HttT for 4 Euro. I might also get Divine Wind when it releases on steam.

Updated first post.

It's an Intel g33/g31 chipset or something, the only problem with it is that it has no pixel shader
