Drop down the hole with the lizardman. Fall in such a way as to pop its smoke-inflated self open on impact, resulting in a cloud of smoke concealing me and a cigar jumping into my hand.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

Forgotten Beasts seem to be akin to Toady playing Russian Roulette with your fortress, as they can be anything from harmless giant worms made of mud to necrotic-gas spewing nigh-invunerable iron hydras of doom.

Turn to save all turns, TURN THE 11th!!! a barrage of extremeness!!!

Summon a twenty megaton armed nuke right in front of me.

3) You suddenly are overwhelmed by the need... the need to get something explosive right away. you crave it! you need it! you  look around for anything, there has to be something!! but no, alas there is not, but you don't give up. you throw your arms out to the center of the room and shout at teh top of your lungs: "NUKE, I SUMMON THEE!!!!"

well that didn't work.

4) hoping to help your pal out, you decide to try to explode again, this time succeeding terribly. 1) unfortunately MrNuke take the full force of the powerful nuclear blast, all of the energy seemed to be directed entirely at him. 6-1=5) somehow though, MrNuke is completely, utterly, and to the GM's frustration, okay. 6) well, you know. except for that third eye on his forehead. and that tail... oh  and he's glowing green.

4) your disintigrated body pieces suddenly start pulling themselves together again and you reform and a charred, suspicious looking man with no clothes

2) you grab the lizard man by the nose and toss it down the hole, jumping after it, but suddenly an explosion rocks the place, exploding the lizardman, letting you to fall in such a way as to get covered in Lizard gore and go sliding across the floor, through the door and come to a stop in a hallway with three doors in it. the first, the blue door, looks to have frost coming off of it. you hear viscous snarling
behind it. the red door looks plain, but that's what makes it the scariest. the green door catches your attention however, because of the red X over the door. behind the door you hear a girl calling for help and pounding, though not on the door.

hmm.... which door?

pray the pole god to replace my weak and pathetic bones with more stable flexible poles so that I may vanquish the prophet of his greatest enemy.

The GM decides to take pity on you and you wake up. you feel your head, getting blood on your hands. woh... that was some crazy concussion.

Checkers maybe? Perhaps badgammon? (After this run to the weapon stand this place (hopefully) has and grab a weapon and kill them.

5) "Checkers?" you ask.

Th guards stare at you then start laughing. "Well of course we'll play checkers, nobody likes chess!"

"Well too bad, I am going to pown you guys!" you jump over their heads, doing a front flip and landing beside a guard, grabbing his two lazor Pistols and begin shooting at every one of them. 1) but you had the guns backwords and shot yourself numerous times 5) but the lazorz deflect off your awesome skin, heading toward each guard it would have hit anyway. 4) they each hit, 5) but they all bounce off their skin as well making the lazorz bounce all over the room as they continually bounce off you and the guards.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

turn 11.5: The Mysterious Green Room
Investigate the green door.

4) carefully, you move toward the door with a red X over it. if someone needs help, it only makes sense that you should help them. nervously, you wipe some of the grime and lizard guts off of your forehead before turning the door knob. inside you see the reason why there's a red X on it. apparently they were doing scientific experiments with plant genetics becuase the lab is overun with vines, trees, shrubs and grass. soil is strewn everywhere and colorful flowers grow out of the wooden desks that line the room. broken glass lays haphazardly on the floor from the beakers that used to rest on the tables and the viewing rooms at the opposite end of the room. only one of those windows remains intact with a girl on the otherside.

but she's not a normal girl. she's been experimented on and now has green skin and a giant leaf coming off the top of her head among her green hair. water covers the bottom portion of her area and it looks like the only way out would be through a vent only big enough for a mouse to get through. bright lights come from the cieling. she notices you and begins pounding on the glass with a panicked expression. "Get me out of here!!!" she screams.

Rush out the door with my awesome weapon.

2) deciding that you should get out of there, you make a break for the door, but find that the guards quickly block the exit. they raise their guns and fire. "This is what people who don't like checkers get!" one of them yells. 5) "Chess is way better!!" You shout, dodging a lazor. boldened by your success you do a backflip, dodging two more lazors and stupifying the guards. from there you keep dodging till you flip over the guards who are blocking the door and let loose some lazorpower of your own. 2) missing horribly, you run instead, hoping to lose them in the maze-like corridors. 3) you find an abandoned cafeteria.



Somewhere in the prison, an air vent suddenly flies out of the cieling. out comes two legs, followed by the rest of a man's body. he wears heavy boots, camo pants and a leather jacket. this man is Quip. what does he do?
