I woke up like five minutes ago, it's not my fault... well, yeah, it kinda is, but whatever.
Hmm, I smell a PLOT EVENT!!
The 4th, and 7th Siege/Trench corps finally drop into the trench, bolstering the Imperial attack, and just in time too. The screams were getting closer.
A man plowed his way through the press of Imperial bodies to Sergeant Berkar.
"Marcus Tycho Gordianus, reporting, sir!"
"Marcus Tycho... Gord-anus?"
"Whatever you like, sir."
"Well, get with the rest of the squad, Gord-anus, I think we could use you."
Not long after, Sergeant Berkar lead a charge farther down into the trench, towards the bunker, and the terrifying noises. Far too many times did they see destroyed corpses, blood smearing the walls, and more than once did a trooper trip on a severed limb and get trampled. The Sergeant nearly killed Phantom and Dariel, as they rounded a corner, and slammed into him.
"Phantom. Dariel. Welcome back," He said as if they'd only been gone five minutes. "Let's go, we have a trench to secure!"
The Imperials moved farther down the trench, to the bunker. It's roof was completely destroyed, as if pushed upwards by some unimaginable force. The Imperials were practically wading in blood, it was so thick and abundant.
"Looks like whatever did this moved on." The Sergeant said.
Not a second after, a trench wall to his left blew out, hitting a few troopers with debris. A terrible roar precluded a terrifying creature of the warp, terrifying and tall. It's skin was blood red, and it's skull was elongated, like a wolf almost. It had four horns on it's head, all black, much like it's numerous teeth, and claws. It it's hand, it carried a massive battle axe, of pure bronze, smeared with blood. It's legs bent the wrong way, not unlike the back legs of a dog. It's giant hooves were covered in blood to the point that their color can't be determined.
It seemed to smile as it leaped forth, into the Imperials. Right away, they could see it's raw killing power, as it ripped four men to shreds. The Imperials scattered, all hoping to find cover. Only a few attacked back. Sergeant Berkar and his squad rushed into combat.
