Curbstomp!!

Reminds me of when a goblin party tried to ambush me whilst standing right next to a herd of 6 skeletal one humped camels which proceeded to kick at least 2 goblin skulls in whilst I ran away as they were distracted. Not the brightest that lot :D. Some animals can be lethal in certain circumstances.

Those things were vicious even before the update.  I've lost 3 adventurers to hooved herbivores.  Two had their lower spines broken and were left paraplegic, and another had his upper spine broken and suffocated.

Deers do kick quite a punch irl they can easily kill you if agressive* and in front of you ;)

I've lost about 20 dwarves to skeletal camels, three or four forts back. All kicks to the brain, and instant death.
