Best loot you've found
« on: November 16, 2010, 03:14:49 pm »

Today I took down some bandits, and took a bag from their campsite. Had a couple pieces of clothing and two iron low boots of lesser quality than mine, so I went to sell them.

Trader wanted to give me 2900 dwarfbucks for everything in the bag, making me think I found some crazy new bug.

Taking a second look at the boots, they were studded with

Damn those boots are pimped.

I've found a quern made of yellow diamond in a night creature lair. Also, an entire fortress built from native platinum.

A steel fucking spear and shield. No enemy was a challenge to me after that.

I'm actually quite nice IRL, but you people have to pay the price for that.

Now stop being distracted by the rudeness, quit your accusations of trollery, and start arguing like real men!

Anything better than bronze armor (not including shields) seems to be borderline legendary equipment.

After being ambushed by about 40 kobolds, and slaughtering most of them, the first kobold that attacked us, who was damn near impossible to kill, was wearing a mixture of quality bronze and steel armor, using a steel spear. Which, for some reason, was human size armor.

I have hoards of dwarves coming at me with silver and steel weapons and shields. Which is funny, because I think silver is actually less effective than bronze at the killing.

hehe. Diamons on the soles of your shoes
Perhaps they are engraved with sign of a teaspoon, and the sign of a wa-a-ave.

Found an inconspicuous looking rope reed fibre bag after a assult on a bandit camp. On closer inspection this bag had thread made out of emerald (not even sure how that works?) and and had an image of a bin in yellow diamond. That bags owner must have been a seriously rich bandit ;)

Well i actually liked her - And at the time, i just reacted to the threat, not really thinking. Then after i ripped her eyes out i started regretting it, and when she died i felt a bit bad about it. *Sigh*

Nice breastplate!

Well, it was more like...
Amanda: Hey Chilton! Lets go get to work!
Chilton: What the... ELVES! Burn the forest!
* A few minutes later *
Chilton: We won!
Amanda: My foot... Its cut open badly D:
Chilton: Oh my god, ah, your bleeding, ah... I know!
*Grabs her foot*
Amanda: NO! HOW DARE YOU!
*Amanda attacks me*
Chilton: You BITCH.
*Strangles her until she passes out, Rips her eyes out, scratching the empty sockets, whipping her legs so she cant resist.*
Chilton: Oh... my god... i... I was trying to help you... Shit, shit, shit, im sorry. I was, i didnt want to, you...
*Amanda gives in to the pain*
Chilton: What have i done, you cant die like this! You were my first companion, weve been together for so long...
*Amanda has bled to death*
Chilton: ...

Im now taking her to get a proper funeral - Her body is in a deep underground room i found with her once, her expensive sword laying next to what is to be her grave, and her blood scattered around. Her body is mutilated, and already decomposing. :(

Seriously, what am I doing wrong right, I never find armor above bronze-level that fit my adventurer. I usually end up finding a few steel or iron shields, and a nice weapon that is not the kind I am skilled in.
