If there are no serious objections, I'd say, do it, Solifuge I don't think there's need for an official "election" - Kael wasn't elected either.

There are some who have given but not received. Because only smart and honest people visit the df forums, I trust that those who have received but not given (simply because they never got a pm) will tell so in their pm, and both can be paired up.

Still, it's unrealistic to expect perfect matches, so you should decide by lot who of the givers-but-not-receivers gets a receiver-but-not-giver and who has to wait for the next one (or Kael) to show up.

Okay, I have a proposal that should work:

Anyone who hasn't received or given a gift yet, and who still wants in on Secret Winter Amigos, please send me a PM with your mailing information, and your current gift giving/receiving status. Basically, if you've mailed a gift but not yet gotten one, or gotten a gift but not yet mailed one, let me know. I'll pair people up as best as possible; if by chance we're shy a gift giver or two, I can think of a few solutions. Also, if for whatever reason you have a person to give a gift to, but haven't been able to send your gift to them yet, let me know who you have, so they don't end up getting double-assigned, and to reduce the chances of having an odd number of givers/receivers.

I inexplicably trust you guys, so we'll be doing this on the honor system. Just remember that Kael knows where you've been sleeping, and if you've been bad or good... and the last thing you want is a reproachful monk standing at your doorstep. :3
