Only cool, intelligent, beautiful people sign up for Secret Santa! Don't be a hater.

What I need via PM (private message through the forum):
Do NOT email me, to ensure everything stays organised.
Name/screenname/whatever you want your packaged directed to.
Address/P.O. box/location of where you are able to pick up mail including country and all necessary postal codes.
YES/NO whether you are able to ship internationally at your Post Office or buy gifts online (This way I can edit the RNG to not have someone with no credit card in Europe have to ship to Australia)

Optional:
Steam screenname ONLY if you would prefer to receive a digital game gift instead of a physical one.

Rules:
-Keep maximum price gift + shipping under $30. It can be lower or higher, but this is baseline.
-Nothing that would be considered inappropriate for non-adults. Cute chibified Cthulhu plushies are awesome. Actual eldritch tentacled abominations (or anything else with tentacles) are right out.
-Avoid perishables: food, kittens, things that risk breaking while in transit.
-Use common sense. Don't send anything that will have the CIA and Interpol after you.
-Ship by early December after I close sign ups to avoid the holiday rush.

I will do the partner matching in tiers over the next few days. Even though I will allow the initial choices to be completely random, I will step in to ensure that no one has to ship across the entire planet.
You will get your giftee's information from me in PM through Bay12's forum.
If you are a penguin and live in Antarctica, or some other boondocks- but would like to participate- we will figure out a work-around so you can participate.
Should you not receive your gift by mid January, we will work to figure out what happened.
I will keep the log of gift givers and receivers, but I will not divulge that information unless it is deemed necessary.
The gift giver has the choice of remaining anonymous or not. This is part of the fun!

As far as I've gathered, nobody on the forums lives remotely close to me. As I was kind of on the fence between signing up or not, I think I'll sit this one out then and save on presumably large shipping costs :\ But I do think this is a nice thing to participate in.

Retro, some of us can ship internationally without trouble (or help with the cost), or even order things from your/your recipient's local area and have them shipped from the manufacturer instead. If you're keen to join, feel free to.

Currently waffling... need to check on postage for a specific kind of package.

And I wonder how this is going to be arranged. Either we will all have to ship to you and have you pay extra shipping fees to ship them back out or have some odd system in place to direct the packages mid-flight so that the people who are sending the package don't know the address of the person they are shipping to. And then there are those of us who would like specific packaging directions to avoid too much attention form our families.
