Awesome :)

Question; what are the yellow dots?  Also, how do I turn on the grid (or is that not in yet)?

edit: dots = towns.  kay.

grid isn't in yet

what you can download now is just a really basic version of the program, that doesn't have any nice features.

the next one will come out when I can put a unique tile for everything.

Is there anyway to utilize this as a "world map" visualizer into a DF visualizer?
Everyone is still trying to cobble together a new viz for DF and other then stonesense nothing has been finished.

Dwarven blood types are not A, B, AB, O but Ale, Wine, Beer, Rum, Whisky and so forth.
It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.

That's a nice world you have there. I see quite a few interesting embark locations. Can't wait to see the next release.

I wonder if this could be expanded to render isometric views of the world map akin to minecraft's cartograph. http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=13134

The overall result looks kinda cute IMO.

I really want that one as a "when". I want "grubs", and "virgin woman" to turn into a dragon. and monkey children to suddenly sprout wings. And I want the Dwarven Mutant Academy to only gain their powers upon reaching puberty. I also have a whole host of odd creatures that only make sense if I divide them into children and adults.

Also, tadpoles.

Make sure to leave the ability to turn each of the layers (Realistic terrain, trees, grid, etc.) on and off, otherwise the decorative aspects are going to obscure useful information when looking for a site.
