Nreelrroi and SmallOne:The two of you relax and talk about the recent state of the tribe. The conversation focusses on the plight of the elder, Chlubukombis. He was so worried about the tribe, and when the sickness caught him he wasn't ready for death. He wouldn't be until he know the tribe was safe. Even before the plague came, he was worrying much more than usual, complaining that everything was going wrong. Nobody really understood what he meant; he was smart, so he was elder.
After resting, Nreelrroi's foot has stopped aching.

Fuzz:You decide to plant something on your farm, but you're not sure what people usually plant on farms. You know that farmers often plant bits of whatever they were growing, but nothing's growing on your farm yet, so how do you plant it?
Shaking your head in confusion, you wander off, take a log and split it into 4 wooden clubs. Taking one of these and a unit of rough cloth, you tie the dull part of one of your sharp rocks to the club, having carved an indentation for it to rest in. The result is a fairly stable hatchet. It requires more finesse than the mace-stick you made, but it could probably do more damage as well.
+2 wooden clubs
-1 unit rough cloth
-1 sharp stone
+1 sharp stone hatchetYou then set about butchering the baboons that Schlakal brought back. With your remaining sharp rock, you have no problem separating their various body parts.
+3 units raw baboon skin
+22 baboon bones
+2 baboon skulls
+12 meals of baboon meat
Retconned one of the wooden clubs into the mace-stick, whose wood kinda came from nowhere - it gives it the same base weapon, too. I also decreased the amount of food creatures give, as it should be a little less abundant than it was previously.

Schlakal:You eat some delicious raw fish and savour the blood as it drips down your gullet. Before you leave, you ask the others for a childsnatching bag. There's a little confusion regarding what you want to do with it, but you grab some arrows and head off before they think too much.
You make it to the human forest town unnoticed and without incident. You sneak around, peeking in windows, and get a good idea of where several children live. They're pretty ugly and pink, nowhere near as cute as kobold babies. Thinking on this, you ask your stone when the tribe might get some more babies. The stone remains silent.
-you are at the human forest town-
Tiggi:You take a few practice shots with the bow. A couple of the arrows are lost amongst the woods, so you decide to stop.
-2 wooden arrowsAs you journey back, you get a feeling in your gut and look around, spotting a cougar trying to sneak up on you. You quickly grab the bow and let loose a few arrows, which thud into its shoulders. It quickly covers the distance between you and brings its claws swiftly across your chest, resulting in a long and painful (but not too deep) gash. You try to fire at it again, but it's too close and you don't have room to aim the bow. The arrows you were trying to fire fall to the ground and are snapped underfoot. It comes in again, this time to bite you, but you bring up your buckler and smack it cleanly in the nose. It's stunned, briefly, and staggers back. You string two arrows at once, take aim, and plunge them deep into its brain.
-8 wooden arrows
+1 cougar corpse
medium wound
Tiggi gained a level in shooter! The journey back is tiring, from a combination of your wound and dragging back both the equipment and the cougar corpse, but when you arrive at the cave it's all worth it. Not only do you have a substantial amount of resources in the cougar, you've brought back items of a quality that the tribe hasn't had access to since you lost your best raiding party to a group of travelling dwarves.
Thought you were gonna die there or lose a limb or something, but your block roll was totally sweet and then your attacks after that kept pushing the cougar back, last 2 hits were max damage and so stopped the cougar getting a chance to bite you (which could have ended you). The wound CAN become infected if not treated, but the infection is unlikely to kill you.

Likesfighting:You take a hold of your trusty hunting spear and venture out to bring back more food. You charge through the forest, hoping to catch your prey with speed rather than stealth. Unfortunately, your prey turns out to be a fox, who notices you coming quite a ways off and dashes away from you. You toss your spear at it hoping for a hit, but it's already disappeared into the scrub.
Not being one to give up, you retrieve your spear and keep going. A little further from the cave, you spot a group of shambling monstrosities. 3 human zombies are lumbering about aimlessly. You stop in your tracks and try your best to be silent, and it seems they haven't noticed you. You rush back to the camp to report this; there've never been zombies around here!
-you are back at the kobold cave-
Ichi:You head back from the village, pleased that no human will likely lay eyes on you for a long while. You round a large rock and notice a pony standing there, chewing on the grass. It's saddled, but there are no humans nearby, so it must have run away. You move closer to it, but find that it's not nearly as scary up close as you would have thought. You stroke its nose and whisper words that you think a pony might say in its ear as you lead it back to the camp.
+1 tame, saddled pony-you are back at the kobold cave-
Kweed''rik'tik, Kurtulmak and Ungbuktu:The three of you loaf around the cave, keeping watch in the most leisurely fashion. Still, at least you're there to congratulate the incoming kobolds as they return with their acquisitions!
Ungbuktu, you decided to stop sticking your hand into the beehive. You feel better by the end of your watch.
