forum bug?

Yesterday I held a vote in my community fortress, and a member PM'd me on it.
All's fine, and I sent a reply.
But when I checked my profile again for private messages later that day, My PM box was completely empty. Refreshing / reconnecting to no effect.
So I thought: 'Darn. Must have hit delete accidentally.'
But hey: I get back online today and.. They're back!

Since it's relevant, I guess this would be a good place to remind people to back up any important PMs they have, as the transition process may just wipe them. Better safe than sorry.
