The king has left the castle to visit other places, and has left three heroes in charge of defending the castle, which is constantly swarmed by monsters. The creatures appear out of portals, and there is no known way to stop them. The heroes have no choice but to kill every monster that comes their way.

The game is done in turns and waves. A wave is when monsters appear, and turns are when everyone moves and attacks.

A new wave appears when all monsters from the previous one are killed.

Each character may move the amount of spaces equal to their SPEED stat. You may not move diagonally.

Their ATTACK shows how much damage can be done. When you attack, a dice is rolled. If the number rolled is equal to or less than the attack stat, the damage is the number on the dice x10. If the number is higher than your attack, you get rerolled for.

The RANGE stat is how many spaces away a monster can be for you to attack it.

Monsters will drop gold, which you can use in shops.

Every five waves( 5, 10, 15 ect.), a single boss appears from a portal. It is tougher than normal enemies.

Attacking ends your turn. You may move and then attack, but you cannot move after attacking.

You must stand ON a healing spot or shop for it to work.

The castle has 500 HP, but does not regenerate.

Sometimes random events will happen. They will be randomly created at random times.

Light blue - River. Cannot be crossed by land creatures.
Grey. - Castle. Stop the monsters from attacking this.
Brown - Bridge. Normal terrain, but used to cross the river.
Dark blue - Shop. You can buy things here.
Green - Healing spot. Every turn you stand on there, you regain an extra 10HP.
Purple - Portal. Monsters appear out of these. A new one pops up around every two or three waves.

Fuzz the Yellow, Lillipad the Blue, and IronyOwl the Red emerge from the castle. As if sensing their presence, the nearby portals start to vibrate. From each one appears a rat. They are the weakest monsters known, but they are quite an annoyance.

So, for the movement. To do this, just mention the direction you want to move and how many spaces. Of course, you are allowed to change direction in the middle of moving. (I mean that in you could go two spaces east, and then one space north in the same turn.)

Lillipad the Blue quickly runs for the first rat, and fires a few arrows. One of the arrows goes right through the vermin's head, doing 20 damage and killing the creature. Lillipad gains 5 gold.
IronyOwl the Red moves toward the second rat, and lets out a blast from his wand. The attack does 20 damage, which is just enough to kill the rat. Ironyowl gains 5 gold.
Fuzz the Yellow heads north, possibly for the last rat.
