as an arty player, I love KVs, theyre so friggin huge, theyre a breeze to hit.

A smart KV always gives you other targets to shoot at, and a smart KV always has something bigger in front of it to soak up the hurt, this in turn allows the smart KV to dish out a lot of hurt with one of his two main armaments, the 107 or the longhurt or the 152 commonly known as the trollcannon with it's ability to oneshot everything up to tier 5 and seriously rape anything above

i skipped regular kv and went straight for kv -3 rape. much smaller turret size thank god. (with upgraded turret) ^_^

ok so im nearly to 45000 experience,(get this, 45000 exp but ive made nearly 1 million credits to go with them :/) to get the IS tank. then i need another like 120,000 to rush through and get the is-3 with prereqs, then the is-3 upgrades will probably set me back another 120,000. arghghgh

It's "closed". With over 500 000 accounts, calling it a closed beta isn't entirely honest. There's plenty of beta keys around on various gaming sites and a thread on the WoT forum dedicated to tracking key handouts.

ok researched my IS, what im gonna do is buy 3 heavy tanks, i already own a KV-3, gonna buy the IS when i have the credits, then make more exp and credits running both tanks to get the IS-3 faster...

ok been driving my IS for a bit now... and my goodness it feels much faster and turns nicer than that KV-3, i likey.

ok guys got  my IS fully upgraded now, just building up exp points for the IS-3...

however... what gun do you reccomend for the IS?

i got the slightly faster firing 122mm gun for it since i got addicted to 1 shotting light and medium tanks in the front armor ^_^.
reload time is ridiculous but its penetration is ok and the dmg it deals when it does can take out like 1/3rd or more of the IS-3's hitpoints right off the bat.

alright this is ridiculous i used the IS in a game on an urban map the smaller one with railroad, and got 7 kills and won the round for my team. (i like to think ^_^).

however i only got like 2000xp or so from killing 7 tanks :/ i pull regularly 1000 from 2 kills and some damaging shots nearly every game so i felt unfairly treated  .

they changed the exp system a bit i think

You didnt happen to have premium usually but not when making 7 kills?

Also, when making 7 kills, were you put on top of the list, meaning all other tanks in team were "weaker" than yours? I have the feeling you get more xp for damaging/destroying/spotting higher stuff.

Sometimes, I'm put in a game with mostly lights and mediums in my heavy tank, and yeah, racking up kills, but not so much xp seems standard in those situations.

Yeah. You get tons of xp/money as a light tank damaging a heavy. You don't even have to kill it. Just go pew pew pew non-stop. You will be surprised after the match is over.

I hate those KVs. Nigh impenetrable armour, sometimes even at the rear and a one shot gun that never seems to miss. It is the bane of my Panzer 3.
