I return. When we do this, if Orb and me are here, we should be able to start up a game with each of us commanding a team (unless anyone else wanted to take a shot at it as well), and then folks can join and try out flying around and doing things if they need some practice.

Oh. I was told to forget. 

Alright, if there is actual interest in me being a commander, I'll happily try downloading it. There is a single player option, right? Would like to practice with the ships so I know what I'm commanding.

I figured since you were kicking our ass in Warzone 2100, you might make a good commander in Allegiance.

There is some training in-game, but you can also read the wiki and a bit on the forums, and play in the non-password protected games.

I recommend changing your keymap. I'm using a slightly modified version of the one here: http://www.freeallegiance.org/FAW/index.php/AFS/Remapping_controls

The problem with the vote is that once you have voted, you cannot change your vote for next week's game or what-have-you.

Edit: I would suggest Aliens vs Predator (1999) Gold if it was free (or classic 2000, which is the same game, but is the one on steam and should work better on modern computers, according to wikipedia). It's pretty fun with 3 or more people.
