Oh come on, guys.  It's almost stereotypical among certain philosophical schools to take on just this view.  He could be a daoist or a stoic or maybe he just thinks those other guys are sophists.

I assume you're playing an old version of Dwarf Fortress, since there is no philosopher in 0.31.

It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Yup, 40d. I haven't bothered figuring out the new military screen yet.

All the new features are so much worth it. Besides, the military isn't that hard to get into :D

I'm a fairly new player.  Picked up the new military screen without much trouble at all.  Figuring out how to set up food and drink industries or mechanisms like pumps stacks and such are way more difficult initially than figuring out how to set up squads, schedules, and equipment.

Same here SalmonGod. I think the main problem with the military screen is older players being used to another type of military system.

Yeah, also I have a decent fort going in 40d and I don't want to give up on it yet, I have clowns, chasm, magma, flux, obsidian layers, and all civs send regular visitors. Elf traders are LOL. If they don't take my offer I just seize what I want.
