Doing the Laguna Blast challenge.

5-gear score is 19000. This challenge is also bugged to hell, to the point that the "correct" path is actually impossible due to an invisible wall that destroys the vehicle before it hits the targets if you bail early and makes most of the targets not count for score if you bail late. The highest score I've gotten from the "correct" path is 18800.

There's a workaround by driving off-course, and approaching from a side where there's a rock to ramp off of. I managed to pull it off as flawlessly as I could. Score was 18942. FFFFF-

EDIT: 19040. And that was only because I put explosives on the car and detonated it in the air. And that took me a few tries because I forgot I had the booster MOD active from an ill-fated attempt to rocket boost the car.

Cultist Simulator. Tried to make money for living by painting paintings. Artist level 1 with 2+1 "passion" from a book from a book store was not enough to make money for living, so i run out of money and starved to death. And also upgraded my mad art skills to level 2 the moment i died. Unrecognized genius, or however you spell it.  :P

Eaten by a bush.

Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!

Fracture Hills was a surprising step up in difficulty, with the ambushing bushes (heh) and the beehive trees.  I never did find a reliable way to kill the trees without getting hurt, but I was probably just supposed to approach them slower.  Took a while to figure out how to attack the earth shapers without getting hurt too, which made the alchemist escort mission way harder than it needed to be.

Witcher goddamn 2. I'm beginning to hate this game. Not because of somewhat dummied down alchemy and... levels... what is a correct word... not because "to drink potions you need to enter "meditation"" thing, and not even because of "dummied down" or "it's better than in first, cutmythroat!" combat system, although for me it was despite surely being more death-to-mousey, to rephrase russian saying, exchanging soap for an awl, in that sense that it is actually easier to wash your hands with soap
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
. I'm beginning to hate it because of quite frequent moment of trashwork (халтура. what proper word for this will be?) on dev side which can't all be just my glitches (well, maybe).
Beginning from the not-glitch - some enemies in some places have a set points beyound which they will not chase you, rock-solid. And they aren't placed too far from their spawn point, at that. For example, soldiers near the stairs in the ballista courtyard in prologue. Run some 6 meters from where they are, and they will instantly turn around and slowly walk back. Ridiculous as it is. But here is the first glitch - if you will hit the enemy that walks in his place (or, better yet, stand between it and him - he will completely ignore you), it will be like hitting the air. No sounds, no animations of being hit. At least they actually got hit.
Another not-glitch surely being the trouble of everyone - you can't save in combat. It is fine by itself, it as just like that in Witcher 1. But, this "in combat" not ends for around 3-5 seconds after the last enemy around has been killed. Furthermore, you can't loot anything while in combat! And i also don't remember it being the case in first one. It actually was.
Now, two more glitches, with game not recognizing state of things when loading the save in, well, not the worst possible way, but is still quite infuriating. First: I get into sudden hard fight, die, load, cast quen (magic shield against one strike), save, go in, die again, load. My mana is gone, and so did quen. Second - monsters spawning when you load the freaking save. Like that - i cleaned the miniboss (endrega queen, no be precise) arena from monsters, and there are none around. I summon miniboss, die, load save, and game says to me "hey pal, what do you think, there is endrega that jumped from the tree just the moment you saved, cut my throat!". I promptly get one-shotted from the back, get vengeful, load, and game says to me "hey pal, what do you think, it was actually a diffirent endrega!". To hell with this one.
Also there is some semi-unlootable sacks and crates threwn around, which are being semi-unlootable because you can't aim at them properly, but as long that there is nothing interesting in them, it's just a nitpick.  ::)

To low chance to hit insta-kill attacks, because of course they would hit the main character.

Ah yes the joys of combining insta death spells and gameover on MC death.  Nothing causes paranoid saving like a dungeon with enemies that know hama or mudo.  I should probably try out the new personas, I liked Persona 1 and Persona 2 a ton, but I hear the feel of the new ones are completely different.

-----
As for my own death I learned a tactic for cheating at a particularly difficult jumping puzzle.  The jumping puzzles typically disallow mounts or gliders inside them, forcefully dismounting you if you try, but I learned that the dismount zone for the one I has having trouble with was a little too low on the vertical plane, and that with some skilled griffon flying I can position myself above the zone and drop down onto the highest point and survive essentially bypassing 90% of the puzzle, only needing to make a couple relatively simple downward hops and killing a couple mobs to get the reward chest.

The griffon flight went perfectly, and on the first try, if there is anything I'm good at in that game it's the griffon flying physics.  Kill the mobs get to the last little hop to get to the chest... and then accidentally doubletap a direction, flinging my character into a dodgeroll into the jagged rocks far below.

The game was finally patched to the point where I can actually get into the game.

Oh right. I suck at battle royale games.

Also, several headshots with a Vintorez isn't enough to kill someone. Granted, the guy I was shooting at didn't kill me, it was someone jumping me on my flank while I was scoped in.

Final landing. You know how much these weigh? Even the basic 1.25 can increase your falling speed by 1-1.5 m/s with its weight, and on Kerbin and Duna that's a lot ;v

Aye, I can see where it'd be useful. It's still a bit of a nasty surprise when you accidentally set it off less than a minute before reentry, though. ^_^

It's strange, though; I don't remember heat shields even having ejectors last time I played.  It has been a while, though; it may have been patched in.
