A brute tossed me into a doctors office as I was leaving.  I was then tossed into the open sanitation room.  I was then tossed into the back storage room.  I was then overcrowded by the zeds behind it as I killed the damage sponge.

Very inconvenient to  be trapped. The first one was sufficient, the second and third was spite.

If you're talking about the graveyard mission where much later aliens show up towards the end of the mission, that's not it.

It's the one that appears to be a regular convoy ambush at first.

The one on the dam? That is one of the hardest missions in the game imo.
Or the first one where you meet a guy at the end and have to bring him back? That one is easy if you move forward slowly and keep a few people on the roof. But if playing it for the 1st or 2nd time it can be really mean. Long War makes it harder by not dropping the aliens at the same spots all the time.

The second one. Putting people on the roof didn't really matter as much in the original, but with EW it looks like they really tried to make height a big part of it. Especially with dropping Thin Men on rooftops and Seekers making sure that your snipers can't be alone ever.


I launched myself into a sniper's nest. The occupant didn't notice until I'd already shot him once. My phone suddenly decided that it couldn't find the internet anymore. When control returned, I was dead.

Stupid major villain with a flying morph-ball attack that's completely undodgeable except perhaps for equipment I completely lacked... and only carrying first-tier healing items on my hotbar... and completely screwed up dodging the last attack of her pattern.

Starbound.

Gladiator pit battle against a plantgirl Pokemon trainer with a slow-effecting sniper rifle. Rather than deal with her pets and get pelted(and slowed) by her rifle, I tried to charge right in and stun-lock her with my dual-wielded swords. The temporary invulnerability after taking damage is a flighty bitch it seems. Her pets piled on top of me and ate my face before I realized that was a bad idea.

Died to a lucky hit from a Chaos Champion after an intense sword-to-axe duel. His axe boomeranged around the room and hit me in the back, stunlocking me just enough for his follow-up strike. I never saw it coming.

Not really a death as much as it is a stupid fail.

So I tried to breach a fort by walking in through the front. I used the Assassin ability where two guards escort you and pretend they've captured you.

Problem: The ones in the fort were redcoats.

The two Assassins escorting me were dressed in colonial militia outfits.

Cue the British guards backpedaling a bit at our audacity before attacking us, starting a fight that ended with the two Assassins injured.
