I thought it'd be a quiet little retention excursion. Roll up to Bunker Hill, maybe push aside some Railroaders, round up the robots and go home for tea.

The Bros threw a whole bunch of gunships into the battle, all of a sudden. Some raiders joined the fun. A pack of ghouls couldn't wait to chow down on the corpses and came running in. Then, the local ogres super mutants felt lonely and joined the party. Did I mention the Railroad agents, who have evidently been to Point Lookout and learned some of the cheats from the locals? They were there, and was 'ardest of them all.

I thought I was overdoing it, bringing a missile launcher along. But I died, died and died. Then, I cheated back used my Jedi console powers to knock the enemies dead and trim the numbers a bit. I still died. A lot. I won, at the end, but when I close my eyes, I still see my character flying to pieces/turn into an ashpile while the dog goes ooOOooooOOoooOoooo...

I fear that some Fallout 4 encounters might be a bit unbalanced, all in all.

Perhaps I should take a few days off in Skyrim. Whatever it is I'm doing wrong, I'm not doing it in Skyrim, usually.

Found the problem, get a minigun with explosive instead, much more effective.

I noticed that. It didn't do much against the Vertibirds, so why exactly would I drag the damn thing along? Found a scrap gun with explosive and modified it into a nice little machine gun. It was amazing... Bits and arms and feet flying everywhere... It ate about 400 rounds of .38 in one excursion, but the damn things are everywhere. The best cheesy legendary find in a long while.

I did get ashified by twin assault bots, but they got the drop on me. Nothing my new toy couldn't pick apart right quick.

Hyper Silver Rathalos demolished me and my friend. For some reason this thing is scarier than Dreadking Rathalos, the supposedly toughest Rathalos variant out there. He flies constantly, can whip around and attack faster than I can react while using the fastest weapon in the game, and chops off half of my health on a single hit while I'm wearing armor with 600 defense (almost as high as it can go).

Who thought this was a good idea?

I went to fight Kematu. Forgetting for a moment that he's an unfair pile of dicks, I used my crappy unenchanted war axe and didn't even try to open with Unrelenting Force. I got killed in short order.

If you just hang out between its legs, there's little it can do to you.

Given they keep flying off a tower to their doom, that's clearly not working out for them.

I beat him with the Gold Pine Resin, but he still killed me twice with it.
At least with the Bell Gargoyles, falling off isn't as big of an issue.. not that that's saying much.

Apparently having your weapon upgraded to +5 helps a lot with the gargoyles. Haven't gotten to test it myself though.
