Are there areas where you can't place a teleport beacon, then teleport yourself to the nearest temple or castle? I can't remember.

Well I don't see the difference between quick-saving and just saving, beyond the extra few seconds it takes to open the menu and click "sayv muh gem plz"

The game is about a cheeky AI though (if I'm not horribly mistaken) so it's a nice touch.

Well, quicksaving can just be a reflexive action, whereas regular saving makes you stop what you're doing.
So basically, the game actively blocks you from an intuitive action in favor of something that breaks gameplay flow?

Sounds like bad design for me.

IIRC, there's three teleport spells: a marker/recall spell, one that takes you to the nearest Imperial city, and one that takes you to the nearest Dunmer (as in Tribunal) city. Not very helpful for finding the Ashlander tribes, or any of the dungeons that require a long wilderness trek.

It's kinda grown on me. Savescumming breaks the tension in a horror game, and the momentary lurch of "Oh shit did I remember to save" keeps the tension high for most encounters.

Maybe it'll get old as I get further into the game, but I'm liking it so far.

"I'm sorry, I don't see where you've gone." Yeah, and we're going to keep it that way. Wait, why does it sound like that's right on top of—
BOOOOOM

I assume this is one of the protocol/waiter/service/whatever droids, which I remember being called out as especially scary on SS2's TVTropes page. While I never even saw it, I would like to know why it exploded; it wasn't there when I went back to the area, so it must have explodinated itself somehow.

Yeah, they're kamikaze robots. They're basically Minecraft creepers, except as creepy robot butlers sounding very polite right before they blow up behind you.

Ironically, if this was an actual death I wouldn't have to post here.

I was an executioner, and unlike other execs I wanted to do things with a little more finesse. I watched the movement of my target, one "J J", who kept silent on the first two days. "Gee, I bet I can make him look like the SK", meanwhile the SK and Mafia are poking me with their knives but as an executioner I shrugged it off. Then as per tradition, the SK implicates herself by not taking things seriously and gets lynched. Oh and did I mention the Mafioso died at the first night due to being shot by a random vigilante? "Well maybe I can say he's a fram-" The Framer gets lynched. "Maybe the Godf-" He reveals himself as sheriff. "Well fuck this, I'm getting him dead."

This actually worked. I conspired with a person who I thought was the Jester but turns out to just be a shitty Medium. Luckily the Godfather killed J J for me, turning me into Jester. Now it's only me, the vigilante, the Godfather, and the Medium who I thought was Jester. He acted like an idiot and failed to implicate neither me nor himself despite me trying to paint myself as the godfather. I threw my lots in with the godfather and he got the Medium killed. The Vigilante, who seemed unaware that I'm Jester, keeps trying to lynch the godfather, but that was impossible without my help. I tried to explain to him that he's losing anyways but he won't lynch me, so I had the GF kill him out of spite. We both lost, and the GF won.

I had like 3hp left, but the area I was in had a sign saying "Medical Supplies" and I'd picked up a surgical unit key, so I figured I was getting healed soon one way or the other.

I moved into the next room and activated a lift. "Lift is inoperative. Maintenance will arrive shortly..." Huh, cute detail. Wait, maintenance... does that mean a maintenance droid?

Spoiler alert: it did.

The majority of the crates actually didn't bust open in my game, although the maintenance droids were more than enough to suck up my ammo. I had to take the last one down with standard shotgun ammo, which was truly a slog. And that's before I realized there was a whole other cargo bay to contend with.

I always found it was easier to run around them. I very rarely actually need to shoot them.

Entire enemy team runs to gank bottom lane, waylays my support, then guns for me. Used a whole bunch of speed boosts to beeline to the enemy teams base to deny myself on a tower, get cherry tapped on the way, dead.
