We were dominating the enemy all game, it was something like 10 - 30, just crushing them, getting every objective. Then, as we were getting the final objective we'd need to win we screwed up a little and the enemy caught us out of position and managed to kill all 5 with only one loss.

Enemy got the objective and pushed and won.

Heroes of the storm (the map where the angel and demon fight in the middle)

It's nice that you can always come back from a losing game (unlike certain other mobas), but I think it's maybe a little too generous. It just takes one late game mistake to erase dozens of early/mid game mistakes the enemy made.

My first airplane flies less than 200m off the ground. It isn't much fun, but I figured it was perfect for this particular contract: take a crew report less than 1.8km above Theursten's Greatness. Basically free money, since the plane itself is dirt cheap.

So of course, it turns out that Theursten's Greatness is a hill. Roughly 200m in height. And I decided to do this particular mission at night. So, poor Valentina Kerman smashed into the ground at about 150 m/s, destroying the entire craft instantly.

Accidentally drove right past an enemy SPAA. He didn't notice me either. I sat at the cap for more than 3 minutes before I casually scanned behind me and noticed him plinking away at something far away. Spun my Tetrarch around and put one round in his turret with my 2-pounder. Cue Benny Hill music as my starter crew struggles to traverse with any kind of precision while the SPAA with it's disabled turret and presumably wounded gunner drives around me trying to avoid being shot again. Eventually I get him in the engine but not after missing a few times. I let out a sigh of relief and began to move back to a concealed position inside the capture zone- Only to be interrupted when I get shot in the engine by an A10. I was very deliberately teamkilled.

I just reinstalled it today and now I am strongly reminded why I hate this game.

I took the "Fly by the Mun" contract. I could really use the money and science from this mission, as I've done just about all that I can reasonably accomplish on Kerbin (unless I want to spend a million years flying atmospheric planes to all the different biomes).

After some trial and error, I got a close enough encounter with the Mun to satisfy the contract and get 80+ science.

However, 60 kilometers above the surface, as the fires of reentry begin to envelop the command pod and all of its precious science, I realize all too late that I forgot to put a decoupler between the final stage and the command pod. So the heat shield is sitting uselessly in the middle of the stack as all of my experiments overheat and explode, eventually blowing the entire pod apart and scattering my dreams in the ocean.

Got smeshed by Undyne during a genocide run. This after a very successful hard-mode run, too :o

I'm actually rather enjoying the differences between various runs, less so the grindiness of this particular one, though.

I took some low-pay work, just to pass the time while thinking of a new plan for my Mun mission. I have to test the LV-909 engine while splashed down on Kerbin, and it occurs to me that I haven't done any science while splashed down. Since scientists are (probably) able to get more science per experiment, or something like that, I put Bob Kerman at the helm of this mission.

Since Bob isn't a pilot, he can't use the reaction wheel on the command module, which means no stability assistance.

If you take SAS for granted and try to launch a rocket without any other aerodynamic assistance, you'll have a bad time.

You talking about Undyne?

I have no experience with Genocide.

You talking about Undyne?

I have no experience with Genocide.

I died once to Undyne, though the fight is harder than a neutral/pacifist run.

i don't own the game, and even if i did, i don't hate everyone enough to do that

't ain't about hate. Story's different in a genocide run.
