Geography conspired so I couldn't reach repair and return to Rebel Flagship at time, died on second phase. It was devastated and on fire, but at some point drones managed to make through.

*happy town music plays as I find myself back in the church*

Shining Force 2.  Nothing like a strategy game where not only does an enemy get an extremely lucky second attack in one turn, they are also both crits, and take the hero out from 100% health. (though it is still one of the best games of all time back before they ruined the series)

There's a tournament for individual players? o_O
I meant this one. (thread). Both players in and out of teams can participate. (In fact, any game played on online server during tournament counts for it.) It also ends in three hours.

I have no idea what happened, but I got merced. I was fishing at night, in a boat, when something obscured about half my screen and I died in a split second. When I returned, there was literally nothing that could have possibly killed me in one hit, from full health, in armor, on easy difficulty.

pronounced "merkt", it's slang that occasionally appears in rap and hip-hop. To merc someone is to kill them, as if you were a mercenary, or "merc".
