Player ghosts are a lot less threatening when you have Control Undead....right up to the point when they resist three times in a row and murder you mercilessly.

DC:SS
Never knew that you could do that. Do mage ghosts cast spells on enemies?

Dunno, only tried that on my melee ghost. What I should have done was control him, had him wait, then simply skipped the floor. Instead I tried to use him as a minion and suicide him into things, but the floor he was on was pretty sparse of enemies.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

I usually prefer Dispel Undead or Lugonu's Banishment for getting rid of ghosts. I've done Control Undead on player ghosts once or twice and it only REALLY worked when I was a Mummy worshiping Sif and had infinite mana from channeling to sustain it for the entire floor. That was fun.

This was an early floor, without picking up a book that had Dispel Undead(which seems to not drop that often anyways).

Anti-fighter lasers really really hurt, I don't like cruisers.

Stilleto II's? If you approach from one side you'll only have to deal with a single one. They only have 1500 range so avoiding them isn't a real issue; and their Anti-ship beams are so pitiful you may as well ignore them when escorting.

Of course, then you get the Maxim, which chews them up; after the point when Aeolus Cruisers stop appearing.

I think so, was one of the first missions, so I was a little cocky. They warned me to stay 1500 away when engaging the fighters, but did I listen? Noooooo.

In Sonic Adventure 2, the Lightspeed Dash works much differently than SA1. You have to actually be moving to use it, where as in SA1 it was a charge-up move. So, instead of dashing through a whole bunch of rings, I just somersaulted off a cliff and to my death.

Sonic Adventure 2. Now that I'm (apparently) through the bulk of the Eggman and Rouge stages, it's actually getting to be a tiny bit fun. It still pales in comparison to SA1 though.

I'm 90% sure the trick to using the Light Dash without somersaulting do your doom (which I have done many times before) is to let go of the control stick just before hitting B.

But you might already have realized that.

Join a game, it turns into cloak and dagger.  I am on the defender's side.  Timer is pretty quick, so it boots me into the game while I was over my purely non-lethal loadout.  So I joined the game with absolutely nothing but my cardboard box.

EDIT:
MGO3  Not sure how I hit post.

Do you know what's fun? Killing mages in two hits with an Orcish greatsword.
Do you know what's not fun? Getting blasted with fire from four different directions and dying, or getting blasted with ice for fifteen straight seconds with a mod that changes walking speed based on current Stamina installed, literally dropping my movement speed to almost zero.

I was investigating an oil spout in the ocean.  I harvested the oil in and around the water, but had room for one more bucket's worth in my tank.  So I swam down the hole, just a little bit, to reach that last bucket's worth.

Good news:  Discovered massive sphere of oil deep underground, more than I'll probably ever use.  (and this isn't the only oil well I've found)
Bad news:  Was unable to swim up the spout, couldn't even slow my descent enough to carve a breathing hole.  Drowned in black gold.

Ice hands being a low level spell helps mitigate this, but even without any mods <element> hands is dangerous if its at your level.

I can handle, say, one mage and two or so one-handed attackers, being a Heavy Armor specialist, but multiple mages / any kind of ice spell are the bane of my existence.

Resist magic/frost gear is your friend. Or have some alternate method like shouts, spells or a bow, to take out those pesky mages before they start draining your stamina.
