Cataclysm Dark days a head.

From the description of the event, I think that your copy of Dwarf Fortress was on drugs when this happened. That's surely the only logical explanation for a human werewolf with deadly farts dying from it's own excrement after slaughtering some goblins comrades.

Fell off a rooftop, right into a guard's line of vision. I let him kill me.

Tenchu.

It's sickeningly close to the stealth action game that I've always wanted. If the controls were smoother and you could see a bit farther, it'd be my new favorite game. I'm still stuck on the first level and still playing it, so it must be doing something right, but my Lord is it janky and weird. I don't know if the sequels were better, this is my first time ever playing a Tenchu game.

Second game is a bit better, third game I think the IP was sold to another company so it's not quite as "open" in the sense that you're more guided to the end of the level, but it also has the B-side audio, which I have to say is some of the funniest shit I've ever experienced in a game.

I had a lot of fun with Tenchu Z, the one for the 360, back in the day.  Spent a ton of hours on it, would play again if the online was / is still kicking around.

Driving a motorcycle, trying to catch up with a train while the fatass sitting behind me is trying to shoot the Mexicans on top. Turns out, fatass is a terrible shot, and it might actually be impossible to complete this mission, since he cannot kill them all fast enough before the train escapes.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
All you have to do is follow the damn train, CJ.

but seriously, I don't remember fatass being that bad of a shot. I completed the mission fairly easily.

I see most of the bullets hit the train, and I've checked at various distances.

Maybe I'll wait a bit, until I can score a rocket launcher, then simply drive ahead of the train(it speeds up when the targets die), and simply blow all of them off.

I don't remember where I ended up getting stuck in San Andreas. One of the missions was a mission where you had a turret and had to shoot missiles or something out of the sky

Some Jarl from Friese I pissed off followed me across the ocean to Danmark. He ganked my ~100 soldiers with ~50 horse, ~75 archers, and ~125 infantry. I had 10 archers, and 3 horse, counting myself. The rest of my 105 or so were infantry.  :'(

What followed was actually quite epic. I had more superior infantrymen, and we killed hordes of his peasants. His cavalrymen were running out one-by-one with no support and getting themselves killed, but they caused a lot of causalities before they went down. It actually looked like we might power through and escape with maybe 10 soldiers, and cause a grievous blow to that bastard Jarl, maybe even killing him, until we were crushed under sheer numbers.

I was technically taken prisoner, but I lost my maxed-out Norse Gambeson, a bunch of high-value monastery loot, and my entire army, except my named companions, of which I had 5, who are functionally immortal.

I guess the knife has been way, way buffed in later Resident Evil games. In RE3 it seemed to be fairly reliable for taking out single zombies, if you had the skill to pull it off. In RE1... not so much. I knifed a zombie in the knees a whole bunch, then got eaten.

Resident Evil. The Director's Cut music isn't.... awful so far, but it's not really good either. I've heard the Mansion Basement theme though. :P

Yeah, definitely buffed since the third game. Actually, I'm not sure it was all that great in RE3, but in Code Veronica, it was actually pretty nasty.

I've also managed to finish the mission I was stuck on in GTA: San Andreas. Turns out there's a nice little sweet spot where Smoke does a lot of damage. The only problem is killing of them too early, making it impossible to dodge the train coming the other direction.

It is indeed. I beat Wesker's Battle Game in Code Veronica DX with just that, because I was unlucky and the Magnum didn't drop from the slot machine. Took me an hour but totally worth it.

As for last time I died... I had a bad time. Many times. :P

Was it the first one in 1-1? 'Cause if it was, you have to hang up the controller forever, brah.

Okay I'm just going to share this story for my friend (Gemariah's player).

Mime.  Miming it up in Paradise, all's well, all's quiet...
Clown pulls fire alarm in his office.  Furthermore, starts screaming.
he is mocking the sacred "pretend to be trapped in a box" mime-art
Drag welder fuel tank up to sacrilege, begin throwing lit matches at it.
Detective is right there watching.  Doesn't arrest heretic, but doesn't notice any spacelaw violations with what I'm doing.
Some engineer silently arrives and drags the fuel tank back to storage.  I admire his style.

Oh no ambushed in maintenance while totally not looking for more fuel tanks!
X_X
Fortunately suit sensors are perfectly silent so I always turn them on, and on this station they're set up to broadcast over comms upon flatlining.  It's cool, my vow only applies for as long as I live.
Rescued by friendly assistant (:  Brought to medbay, stuck in cloner.
explode
somehow (lol bugs) the explosion only destroys the room, not me.  Nice that everyone nearby is deaf, not so nice that the cloning room is trashed.  Time to crawl to my revenge-
Traitor busts into the room and kills me again
welp
Except!  Security was already en route to investigate the explosion, and brings the traitor to justice!
The day is saved ;_;7

except i'm still dead because nobody cares to rebuild the cloners, oh well
hopefully the clown died in a fire

So Tenchu's third level is all about looking ahead and being aware of your surroundings. Problem: Tenchu has a draw distance of about two inches, and the camera controls aren't that great. So by the time an enemy is nearby, they've probably already seen you and been alerted.

And as an extra fuck-you, the tip for this level is "Kill quickly and silently". THANKS LADS.

Tenchu. Gonna skip ahead to the sequel now.
