I was trying to farm repair experience by allowing a boarding party to run around destroying all the systems, and then following them around and repairing all the systems. It was working pretty well, but then my ship was suddenly and unexpectedly destroyed.

I must have really not been paying attention to my HP. A handful of random mining droids took me out. But then I didn't have any shields or drugs active, nor did I use any medpacks between encounters, hence the "not paying attention" bit.

KOTOR 2 + Restored Content mod. For some reason, I seem to remember the game running a lot slower on my computer. Now that the game runs faster, I'll at least be able to get through the tedium of Telos & Citadel Station much more quickly.

Discovered that the starship I had been working on for a long time doesn't actually work. With only 1/3 of the module docks loaded, it can barely move and the off-balance weight keeps it from actually going anywhere in a straight line.

Ahh, being the epic pirate that I am, I tried stabbing me a chicken, but of course, there was an explosive keg in the path of said stab, one thing lead to another, and I got blown up into little pixels. -Pixel Piracy

Playing with the Mantis cruiser I was trying to unlock both the slug ship and the Mantis B in one run. I got the "Take no prisoners" achievement but failed to get any others before getting to the final sector. The Flagship battles went brilliantly, with my boarders disabling the missile and laser batteries, allowing my own weapons to make mincemeat of the (relatively) defenseless ship. On the Flagship's final stage I resolved to get the last mantis achievement: Battle Royal -kill the last enemy crewmember with your last crewmember on their ship. Once I got the Flagship down to 1 HP, I teleported one mantis over and vented oxygen on my ship. The personal battle was a little anticlimactic, just a single wounded rebel with a broken medbay versus a max combat skill mantis. I easily killed him and then... no achievement. The Flagship's unmanned mode must have interfered with it. I left my crewman to bring down the Flagship on his own, killing him when it exploded. I could have pulled him back and let my weapons finish it off, but this way seemed more fitting.

One of the harder levels.

5 ways to deal with jackals:

-Your own charged shots.  The PP is actually a respectable weapon in its own right
-PR.  Like elites, they dont stand up to the wicked plasma fire
-grenades.  In Halo:CE I'd take human over alien nads any day
-Pistol.
-melee

The plasma rifle is completely underrated, imo.  The power of shield-drain and stunlock make it very useful.

In my own death, I got tired of the game.  Dont think Ill play it for now.  Its unfortunately they way I am with classes I feel shoehorn me into awkward profiles, which DnD does feel like to me.
  Maybe Ill try playing with actual peoples sometime . . .

Not a game over, but the main character was incapacitated:

I wanted to have Atton recover the mines while T3 and the Exile hung back and shot the droids just beyond the minefield. I set T3 and the Exile to stationary. As soon as I switched back to Atton, the Exile ran forward through all three landmines, wasting them and getting incapacitated in the process. Pathfinding at its best.

A single Lv.26 Stantler wiped my entire party of Lv.20-22 'mons. Ghastly would have been able to bring it down with Curse is Kadabra's ever managed to Disable Stantler's Confusion attack(three attempts, all failed, with Kadabra getting one-shotted with Stomp).

Brom's armor decided to give up on him.

Thankfully, PoR's lack of a soft reset button was remedied by the fact that the Black Knight showed up a few seconds late and murdered Ike with Alondite.
