Pokemon doesn't care for lore all that much.

Mew is the ancestor to all pokemon, yet Arceus, Rayquaza, Groudon, Kyogre, Dialga, Palkia...

They presumably all existed before Mew.

And the fact there are like, forty thousand pokegods.

But the people in Pokemon aren't that smart, so its probably all just strong pokemon being hailed as gods when they're just above average.
Unless Arceus is Megaevolved Mew, in which case, it's why you can't find a mew anymore, because it's permamegaevolved now days.

The quick-time event in the West Wing got me, although I think I may just not have had enough "health" (for lack of a better term) to survive it.

Clock Tower. Screw you and your creepy music, too-realistic sound effects, and slightly awkward pathing AI. :'(

Which would pretty much be like actual people who came up with mythology; it's not like foxes are actual trickster spirits with an unfortunate taste for human livers/souls, for instance, nor does the bear have a short, stubby tail due to an unfortunate ice-fishing accident.  That's pretty much my typical take on so-called legendaries - they're actually just mythology, jazzed up a bit.  For that matter, every single Arceus Pokedex entry starts with some variation on "According to legend" or "In Sinnoh mythology", as is Kyogre (adjusted for Hoenn); Groudon is a bit better in that it has precisely one entry (copied across a couple generations) where it says anything that goes beyond the scope of amateur cultural anthropology, and that is only that it fought Kyogre long ago and is slumbering.  There's a significant difference between "is a god" and "is treated as a god by a polytheistic people with no understanding of modern science," which I must also hasten to add in the strongest possible terms is not a product of just "being smart."  The common perception in the fanbase that Arceus created the universe basically seems to be people reading a bit too much into the mythology-always-true notion that's so common in fiction, but myths, especially when they come from different regions with different folklores, don't actually have to be completely consistent or accurate.

EDIT:
For that matter, if myths did have to be consistent, we'd have a huge verisimilitude problem in the real world - did the world come from some mysterious omnipotent being saying "Let there be light"?  Was it hatched form an egg?  Did it form from drops of dew?  There are as many creation myths as there are peoples, and that's just creation.

Such a great game. Did you know the guy who directed that first one is working on a new project along with Silent Hill 1 monster director?

Disarmed all the bombs on struts A through E just fine, what the hell is wrong with strut F. I keep getting riddled with bullets. I'm hoping I was just tired and will have better luck this evening.

@itisnotlogical: Which Clock Tower? PS1 or SNES? Because I loved the PS1 one. Great game. ^^^

I don't really know what happened.  One minute I was on a three-man island, killing Egypt and building for Wang's head.

The next, I was the neighbor to six assholes with greater tech while I was running a 10% economy and Wang was their best buddy.  I was unable to push past the machinery boon he had.  Although I had the AP and good relations with Victoria, reduced resources meant I did not have the resources to fuel my economy, which meant I was running a slow growing cortege economy with a warmongering tactic on a small continent.

Depends on what difficulty you're on and where you start from, but as long as you're on the upper floor it's generally pretty easy to take out the one guard up top and then finish the ones patrolling the bottom by shooting them from the rail. You just need to keep in mind that guards can still see you from the bottom floor.

The enemies in the Dark Souls II DLC are hardcore. There's a particular clusterfuck room with no cover where about 7 of the bastards lurk.

It was the SNES one; I'll play the PS1 game after I finish with the SNES one.

Cool. I didn't like the SNES one as much, but that could be because I played it after the PS1 Clock Tower. That being said, I hope you like bad voice acting when you get to the next game in the series. ^^^

Not to spoil too much, but PS1 Clock Tower has two main characters to play as, each with five endings (although I think the respective 'D' ending for both of them is basically nothing) and it's not obvious how to choose which one you play as, so I'll tell you here. In the prologue as the professor, there's a point in which you talk to Harris by the elevators. If you talk to him only once (which I think is counted by the cutscene, so basically just walk past him after that), you'll play as one character; if you talk to him more, you'll play as the other. Hope you have fun with it!

It really is obtuse. PS1 is probably my favorite.

Playing as elephant adventurer with trunk modded with [GRASP]. Fell out of tree because climbing with only one thing to hang on with is a bad idea. Had legendary sneak (Z level differences seem to help with visibility), so I managed to fall on a raven without it getting scared and taking off, but it did not cushion my fall at all.
