Playing as an monk for the first time and all is going well (Killed the black knight on my third attempt and felling good killing that ass hole) then, the 2nd demon I had to fight just hit me off the wall just as he is going to die...

I am going to take a break for about... 2 week so I do not break the disk and thrown the case into an bin then light it on fire

Adds in Uprising units, makes the Emperor King Oni, the cut-content chronotank, and Tesla Tank buildable, seems to improve the AI (since when did the peacekeepers use the riot shields for the point blank shotgun blasts?!) makes a few changes (bye bye floating in place MiGs, Apollos and Jet Tengus), overhauls the visuals and gives a few new toys. Like an ICBM for the Soviets.

The mod maker also says there's a way to build the Shogun Executioner, but I think the mod died before that got added.
Sounds neat, but that power cost for tesla tanks is just so weird and dumb!

Eh. I could see why they added it. Tesla tanks 2hit everything but the tier 3 heavy units, and their tesla shots spread like mirage tanks do so it also kills a ton of infantry. And it shoots fast. Cutting power is the only way to handle them without throwing a shitton of credits at them until you wear them down.

My water slide has claimed its 20th victim. It's making my park rating go way down.

I should probably get rid of the water slide.

My clever plan to swing into the sky away from the Titans hit a snag when the Crawler launched himself into the air after me.

Springing off of Monk12, here's an old story from when me and my friend played the AoT tribute game.
Me: "Fuck yeah, this game is awesome!"
Friend: "Hell yeah! Hey, watch this!"
*Friend slingshots himself into the air as I watch from afar, much cheering.*
*Cheering turns into screams of horror as, quick as lightning, a Crawler jumps up from the street and bites him out of the air.*
"OHSHI-"
"JESUS FUCK!"
"OHMYGOD!"
"THIS GAME IS SCARY, FUCK THIS!"

'Good lord, my brother is a piece of crap.

'I need a son, and I need him 16 years ago.  Lets go, you dried up old hag.  Make me a baby.'

'Thank God, a son.  Ill just be his guardian . . .'

'This kid is awesome.  Now to nominate him and watch as all my vassals switch to get the agreement bonus . . .'

The last thing you feel is a knife in your chest as you wonder who set this  up.

You died under suspicious circumstances.  You are now Shitbag Macgee.  Have fun with everybody hating you.  Long live SMAC.

I always ground all the way to level 15 before the Marsh Cave. That right there is the hardest part of the game until the very end. Unless you try to grind the WARMECH.

Oh cool, my mech can turn into a drilling rig now? Sweet. Let's go drill for T-energy. Alright, drill is in place and the T-energy is flowing. Cue HQ calling in a telling me the vibrations will attract ALL THE AKRID. Okay, swarm creatures, I can handle. Drill's gonna get damaged, no biggie. Oh wow, that's a lot. I mean, holy shit. Okay, the pocket is half drained, and my mech is half destroyed. Not good. Wonder what's next. Oh fuck, it's those giant dog Akrid with the armored shell and the absurdly tiny weakspot. Oh shit, that's a fucking swarm of them. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Lost Planet 3. Once I hit that point, it's a toss up between me dying, or my mech.

I've always thought that earth needs a good alien invasion to bring all the countries together, because I honestly can't think of any other way to make them stop fighting other than make them fight something that would be genocidal monsters.
Everyone could stop killing aliens later.
I just got done trying to win the Fuel Crisis mission on Fate of the World and I have to agree.
Why can't the people accept that I'm trying to help them? I mean, India was on the brink of civil war pretty much the entire time and I was throwing money at their problems to fix them. Still withdrew support and what do you know, within five years the country had descended into chaos.
Then shortly afterwards Japan (HQ for science reasons) ditched because I wasn't paying enough attention to them or something? Anyway assassination followed.

My sole job was to help can't they understand that?

It's got it's moments. like fighting giant enemy crabs in a mech, pretty much re-enacting pacific rim while you wrestle it to expose the weakpoint for massive damage. It's also got some pretty decent scary sections, as well as a few memorable characters. All in all, worth the twenty bucks I paid.

Slammed into an automated mine layer while going about 60m/s.

I've found that the best way of taking over passing ships is to come in hot, turn on inertial dampeners when behind the ship, and then assess the situation. Most of the control terminals seem to be near the rear of the ship, so it works out pretty well. In this case, I was behind the ship and trying to close the distance. I didn't enable my dampeners in time and slammed right into the back of it.

Oh god, that game. No matter how hard you try on some of the higher scenarios, it's pretty much impossible to win, which is partially the point of the game.

The real catcher is that you can't please everybody. I'm a socialist IRL, and my instinct in those kind of games is always to roll out social programs and etc for people, but if you do that in that game, you run out of points really quickly, then everyone dies. Sometimes you have to sacrifice Southern Africa for the good of the world. Also, some of the black ops options are insane. I've never actively used them in a game, but I tried some of them out in one test game on "Cornucopia". You can actually develop a disease to wipe out the population of an entire region. I'm not sure how practical that would be in an actual game though.
