Broke one of my own rules, don't play Xcom tired.  In this case it was in Xenonauts, and I wiped against 5 Sebilians.  One of my casualties was due to self inflicted stun grenades, 5 were around this one damned building that I kept getting hit from unexpected angles through (seriously, how many times can a stationary alien get one of my guys through 2 windows?), the other two died rushing into a UFO because one stupid lizard wouldn't die and there was another one hiding in the back room.

Fortunately I have enough remaining men for 2 whole squads, provided half of those squads are privates.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

After not playing on the Goonstation servers for like a year, I decided to go back to them and see how they are now. Ended up getting drunk in the bar, vomited all over myself repeatedly and ate some ice cream that quite literally burned my throat. And my entire body, for that matter.

One of my companions had been permanently disabled after a fight with a pair of elven crossbowmen. While my other companion and I were strolling by some dark pits (couldn't travel by them >.>), a silver bolt streaks towards me and embeds itself in my left upper arm, chipping the bone and making me black out instantly. My dingo leather armor did *nothing* to save me and the expert crossbowman (another damn dirty elf) who did it fired a few more shots before going in to beat my face until I died. My other companion presumably suffered the same fate. Thus ends the tale of the three traveling swordsmen, who did rather little in retrospect.

I feel like this game would be a lot easier if I had one lick of experience driving in real life.

Wait for American Truck Simulator to declare that. I've never been to Europe :P

Euro Truck Sim is a surprisingly neat game, but you can't *die* :P

Was convinced to install Payday 2 again.  After a few decent heists they went for that wacky new bank heist that's more complicated than a DOTA2 match, on Overkill.  I was moving "Pink Floyd" the stuffed bear with a crane, when some snipers spawned on the building right next to me.

Seriously, they spent about 5 minutes drawing on the tac map and just describing a typical run to me.  I am truly awed by the depth of gameplay at this point, and also a little leery.

This one didn't want to be who they was. On the Surface – it was a dull, unconsidered sadness. But everything changed. Which implied everything could change.

Not a death, per se, but I lost to my boss in Madden today 20-27. There were no customers there for a while.

Ragequit after getting hit by one of Rumia's lasers. The ones that show you clearly where they're going fire  seconds before they do. Embarrassing.

Downloaded a beatmap of Collective Conciousness. It started off like a normal map, but then a huge number of notes appeared in such huge numbers, so far away from each other that it probably wouldn't have been possible for a human being to click them all before they disappeared, let alone in the correct order.

Dunno what happened, but my Technomancer went from full health and nearly-full shields to respawning in an instant. I didn't even get a chance to fight for my life, I was just plain dead O_o

Practice. A lot. Possibly for hours on end. Every day. Without sleep.

Ran a bit too far over the edge and fell right on spikes. Classic death.

Well, one of DT's guitarists (or ex-guitarists. I like the music, but I don't actively keep up with them) gets better by purposely writing things that he cannot play. Then trying, over and over and over.
I'm getting better, but it's a slow process that is kind of frustrating.
