He died as he lived, eating ridiculous amounts of meat that was, a short time ago, a boulder. Man, that guy was weird.

I imagine the chunks of meat look like giant meatballs.

Also, I'm kind of glad you can't cast Stone to Flesh on the dungeon walls. Though that could also work as a tunnelling method.

However, you CAN dig through the walls with a pickaxe, and turn the resulting rubble into delicious meat. Smaller rocks are indeed meatballs.

Thank you! I always was undecided about playing Nethack (Yeah...) but having the option to make meatballs out of rocks sounds like a great enough reason for me to try it.

I got attacked by a few horses undreground. I was running to the staircase, but I didn't quite make it. YASD.

Ugh. Horses, dogs, and cats are the worst. They seem to have much higher health and damage than other monsters, probably so that your starting pets survive better. But the wild ones are to be feared. I find you can instantly deal with them by throwing food at them, though. Do not underestimated them, though. They are NOT puny.

Killed by kitten, and wasn't incapacitated this time either. Nethack. There goes another monk...

I was low on health and drank from a fountain. Sadly, the water was poisoned. YASD.

Not a death, but thirty one - repeatedly walking into killer flies, flying dismembered heads, walking eyeless monstrosities, and the occasional fire.

Binding of Isaac. Haven't picked up the expansion/DLC yet and figured I'd try to complete the base game first. Unexpectedly I managed to get the 'no damage' achievements before getting the '100 deaths' achievement, the latter of which is required for 100% completion. Now I just need to find three specific items, and I'm done - until I pick up the expansion that is. And possibly also the remake.

This was a few spread out deaths that happened a while ago, but worth mentioning: every source of poison in Nethack carries a tiny but significant chance to instantly kill you.  Even a single hit from a snake, killer bee, or soldier ant could be your end.  And most corpses that grant poison resistance have a chance to poison you too.

A shuttle requested emergency docking for medical aid, as they had a few infected crew members that wouldn't make it to the next station. I let them in. Next time, I should ask exactly what they are infected with. While my doctors were scanning the first patient, the alien parasites that had infected the crew hatched, and they tore trough the sickbay, the security team that came running, and then the rest of the station.

Was fighting a Jinyu Rare spawn, wasn't paying attention to what he was casting and ended up standing on top of a massively damaging ground DoT for several seconds, which resulted in a rather speedy death.
