Combat, my only weakness!

Loaded up the game and threw in a bunch of olde mods.  May have to rebalance them.  somewhere between emcumbrance, fatique, progressive disease, hunger, ai buffing, magic reconjiggering for all, ai equipment increases, and increased dpawns in all locations, numbers, and variety Im getting pounded into putty.

speaking of putty, Im a nightblade this run through, not a crusader.

I went to the Craterside Supply and decided to see what happens if I die, so I punched Moira.
It ends up I turn into some sort of horrific mockery of a human!

Nightmare, in its third iteration. OH GOD THE NIGHTMARE. And I'm not even playing on the harder difficulties. I reached a point where I was just about to throw my controller at the wall, time to take a brake me thinks. During the evening I beat it once, and *SPOILER*! This game can be so frustrating at times.

Devil May Cry

Not only does it have a fake death, its power level probably exceeds 9000 with all those simultanious attacks it gets.

Killed by a bear about three times my size. I revived on the spot and kept fighting, only for the exact same thing to happen. Hardly dented its life bar, even with my shiny new Lance Counter skill.

Rogue Legacy. I was playing as a Lich Queen, had stacked my health to full several times leaving myself with a huge mana pool, and had cleared pretty much the entire castle and forest. One of the last forest areas was one of the long spike rooms with platforms that have to be engaged. Long story short, I missed two and because I was at half full health and my full health was only halfway to the Lich cap (having just converted a portion of my max health into max mana), it was enough to kill me. Sigh.

Killed by a bunch of orc soldiers and their white wolves. I probably should've tried to find some good armor or an axe before going down to the next level. I also could've learned Song of Slaying to use in that fight to buff me up, I was certainly killing enough to benefit from it. Identifying my items on death reveals I had a golden horn of terror I could've used to scare mobs away before I died. Dang.

Sil--an Angband variant that replaces classes with a skill system similar to DCSS. Also has a crafting system., although it requires specific buildings to be found in the dungeon, so not that useful if you can't find an anvil.

Finally managed to kill the bear that had so plagued me earlier, and took down another one for good measure by getting the timing of every attack exactly right. I thought this meant that I was now capable of regularly defeating bears. I was wrong.

Yeah, it's like Dead Space meets Lost Planet. I personally prefer the previous two games, but the game's not bad.

Well, multiplayer's laggy as fuck right now, but nevermind that.

My United Colonies crumbled underneath constant attacks from all the insectoid empires in the galaxy. Apparently their only purpose is to make sure that there is always fightin' going on.
