Do you mean the trunk? Because I was playing the normal version as I wanted to play a hill orc priest and didn't want to jump through any hoops first.

Say, if you give birth on a ranch and then murder your baby will a corpse drop be guaranteed?

I mean when the stable version of DC:SS updated from .11 to .12 a while back, Hill Orc Priests got a bit of a buff (Recall is better now: it used to be you could only Recall orcs on the same floor as you, so you would only have however many orcs can fit down the stairs with you to start a new floor. They also added XP sharing between you and your followers) and the Abyss got revamped, among other things.

Not a death, but damn near close to one when I realized I was about to fight Magic Master without anyone being able to cast Reraise.

I think there's a relic that grants reraise you can get in a shop. Note that I say I think, it's been years and years since I played FFVI all the way through.

Anyways...

I was screwed during the Nemesis fight due to an earlier mishap with some zombies. Not only did I accidentally blow up a nearby gas can too early, forcing me to waste precious ammunition, I misjudged the size of the blast and got myself caught in it. I thought I'd find another save room before I found Nemesis again, but I was wrong.

Resident Evil 3. This game is so balls-to-the-wall, I wish they'd give it a proper remake like with the first game.

I just joined up with the Nords as a mercenary, and as always they were at war with the Vaegirs.  I had about 20 Nords with me when I signed up, all of them at least either warriors or archers from fighting sea raiders.  I had some decent equipment, including a balanced heavy lance (I think), a Nordic shield, some chain mail, and a bow (I had a masterwork strong bow but I knew I wouldn't be able to get to use it.) I went around and recruited about 20 new recruits, and was about to start training them when I found a jarl who was losing a battle.  He had about twenty troops against the Vaegir count's 60, so I thought that we just might be able to win this.  I joined the battle, and the way the game handed it out is that I had almost ten of my troops (All of them the recruits except or one archer), my ally had another ten, and the Vaegirs had almost thirty to forty.  I ordered my men to hold a hill, where they were promptly slaughtered and routed, along with my ally after only taking down a couple of them.  I continued to attack with hit and run attacks. couching my lance for massive damage (I got almost 350 on one horsemen).   I took down 15 of them, including all their archers and all but two of their horsemen.  I charged one of the horsemen, taking him down, but the other one approached from the side and started hacking at me with his axe.  I tried to get away, but I had been turning and went right into the border of the map.  With the border on one side and the horsemen on the other, I was unable to move or maneuver my lance, and was promptly cut down.  I got away with the rest of my forces, but then I hit level 8 and the demo kicked me out.

Damnit Vic!  you are quite lucky theres still room in my party.  When I say "just hang back and shoot the guys in front of you" I dont mean "just pace to and fro whilst Sulik, I, and the noble townsfolk of Modok get assaulted.  I mean youre the only one wih a gun thus far, and Slags wont off themselves.  My spear is getting old fast and my throwing skills dubious.

Archangel's mission on the hardest difficulty...

The one shutter where you have the long stretch between the shutter and entrance is fraggin' hard. You have a time limit (Archangel's vitals), but Vorcha, Varren and Krogan pile in faster than you can kill the buggers.

Mass Effect 2
Let me tell you: being a Vanguard on Insanity is not pretty.
*charge krogan*
*krogan instantly regens, punches Shepard in face*

Fell off a single story house. -_-
Going from borderlands 2 to fallout 3 makes me loathe falling damage standards.
My Kajit would have still lived easy.

Following an example from USEC_OFFICER's recent LP, I tried to do a custom Repulsive/Telepathic/MIND CONTROL Klackon missile-spam run.

It was immeasurably successful(I forgot to measure it). At least, all he way until I challenged the Antarans. First attempt, all they had was a Harbinger, Intruder(? That cruiser-sized one, I think), and their Star Fortress. Missile volleys destroyed both ships, then all remaining missiles redirected towards the Fortress. After all the missiles hit, the thing had less than 50 structure points less, starting from 3600. >_<

Second attempt after savescum, I focused on the Fortress, took it out, then the missile swarm hit the Harbinger with plenty of overkill. Unfortunately, the Dauntless Guidance Sytem only redirects missiles once. After the second target is destroyed, the remaining missiles are lost. The Intruder survived. I retreat and come back next turn. Somehow the Harbinger and Star Fortress are back. The cheating bastards built two things in one turn.

Pissing off the Dark Elves without entirely knowing how violent their response would be was an entirely irresponsible thing to do. I didn't even think bows could fire that fast. If we weren't already inside a goddamn tree, those arrows would surely have blocked out the sun.
