Ganged up on by sabre cats. They deal a surprisingly high amount of damage. A single sabrecat dealt more damage to me than a pack of wolves.

Mayor of a wonderful city of 30,000 beautiful downtown high value skyline full of trees and ponds, excellent healthcare and police coverage, a little bit of traffic trouble on the double wide avenue out to the industrial section, despite excellent bus coverage, but a project was in the works for the city's first highway system from the downtown dense residential blocks to the industrial section to alleviate that problem.

Then the moment the highway was opened to the public, 2 cars traveling in diffrent directions crashed into eachother at max speed.  This acted like a large scale LHC gone wrong, as a black hole formed in the impact and devoured the universe.

Either that or Windows 8 doesn't like highways in this 10 year old game and crashed to desktop.  And I'm addicted to autosave being on by default.

Finishing up my 'dinkered raws' campaigne.  Macedon has lost Greece but still holds half the world.  Thrace is beating back Germany after losing 4 or 5 cities.  Took one back, says my spy.  Poltom.  potlem.  Egypt is finishing off Selecluid and Sarmatia is killing Bactra.  I havent officially won yet and all of the above are sending those pre-war diplomats and spys (and taking Macedon cities is a phalanxy nightmare) but Im heading that way.

The game crashed.  Three times now.  On Macedon's turn where two of the four battles are going to be hard fought and the others annoying. Grrrrr, thats like losing an hour a try.

My level 1 wizard ran out of magic power and went from ten HP to zero with some help from a jackal. He literally could not hit in melee to save his life.

Gray Fox, Sniper Wolf and Vulcan Raven are probably my favorite boss battles in all of the MGS series. I never use the Nikita though.

Anyway, long story short, the AI finally put two and two together, realizing that rockets + infantry = exploded infantry. We were all bunched up at one end of the bridge between platforms, so we lost something close to 15 troops at once.

Star Wars: Battlefront. Kamino is all sorts of fun.

Propkilled in Garry's Mod (DarkRP). It was okay; everyone on the server was propkilling each other.

Makes me want to load up MGS 1 or 3 again :/  Although the Last Days of Foxhound webcomic gave the characters actual depth.  Worth checking out despite the simplistic art, the dialogue makes up for it.

I tried Faster Than Light on normal for once - how hard could it be?
Wow, I'm netting almost no scrap after repair costs - did a partial repair so I could afford a transporter.
Both of the next sectors are mantis :|
Lose one of my 3 crewmembers in a boarding action.  Teleported him out just too late.
Found an abandoned mantis escape pod.  Took a chance.  1 crewmember left.
Got boarded by rebels and got shot to pieces while healing my last guy.

Crows Nest Heroic-
I"ve gone the whole level without dying.  I have reached the part where you have brutes with jump packs.  There is only one or two left, and I take cover behind some crates next to a marine for my shields to regenerate.  Suddenly, I hear the sound of a shotgun going off and I fall over dead.

Try to taxi onto the runway to take off. I change from overhead view to first-person, and the game decides to re-enter autocontrol, which also decides to max the throttle(whe switching to manual) and engage the parking brake and tail wheel lock. As I fumble to fix these, I roll slightly onto the grass. Apparently this counts as "leaving the airfield at under 100 feet" in the debriefing, so MISSION FAILED, ASSHOLE.

This, among a million similar failures, are pissing me off quite a bit.
