Was driving around when I noticed a man infront of me I quickly drifted away but then my car rolled and began rolling down the road which was a slope. I tried breaking the windows with my elbows with no use. So I just smashed the window with my head and I went unconscious. Later I died and respawned.

Got flung by a rocket into an instagibbing floating mine that is also invisible except for a specific ability to see it that blocks you from using your other abilities while active.

And eventually getting past that, the game crashed during the boss fight, forcing me to go through the whole damn thing again.

I was making more progress then I had made in months on Sen's Fortress. I had just got through the white light and stopped to read a message.
" Beware of lava."
Lava? I don't see any lava.
I noticed the scorched area on the ground just in time to start running. I didn't escape, but I made it to the stairs alive.
The next area I recognized to have the bonfire, if I jumped off a particular drop. I was halfway there when the other bomb set me on fire. I made it to the drop alive, but the fall killed me. I was RIGHT NEXT to the bonfire. I made it there alive on my next try.

I was freaking human Legolas (But without the burden of being an elf.)  I could head-shot zombies on the move with my homemade longbow, and getting more ammunition was as simple as going to the nearby woods.  I had found a house with an underground basement full of supplies and a med, and I barricaded the housse itself with bear traps and two by fours.  I was fully set, by guy living the dream.  Until I got the common cold.  Finally unable to continue holing up due to lack of water, I headed out to a house I knew had a large stockpile of water, which I made in case by safehouse was suddenly blown up or compromised.  There was a lone wolf spider in front of the entrance.  I didn't even think something like 'No problem' I just simply closed and fired an arrow.  The first missed, and I hit f to fire another one, when, to my dismay, I realized that I had forgotten to replenish my supply after clearing a section of town.  I switched to my wooden javelin, but with my low skill level in melee combat, combined with having the cold and being sensitive to sunlight, I was quickly poisoned and brought down.

Cataclysm: DDA

I hate god damn wolf spiders.  EVERY one of my archers that has made it to the point where he/she is able to start building a truly detailed safehouse is killed by one.  I finally get a wood axe, and the other things I need for basic constuction, and what happens the moment I start heading out to the woods?  A wolf spider is right next to the door.

Doing select levels on Perfect Agent (the hardest difficulty), I pick out "G5 Building" since it's PA objective is easy compared to almost every other mission in the game.

Near the end of the level, I have to wait for a vault to crack open and then escape. I had been doing pretty well, only taking one low-damage hit early on. Once I put the door decoder on the safe and the sirens started blaring, I thought I'd be able to camp the doorway as usual and escape just fine. What I hadn't counted on was the countdown being increased for the higher difficulty. Combined with a drastically lessened ammo supply, I was out of SMG ammo when the decoder still had 30 seconds to go. One hit from an elite guard took my health from near full all the way into the red, and another hit finished me off a few seconds later.

Got my first win after ~800 games,
didn't get any *gold* in 1200 games.

The only "good" part is that beating the boss, after you've understood how to do it without even trying to hit him once is "easy".
