I just wish dwarves and humans weren't so hampered by their strength limits.  Not to mention their small size when compared to practically any non-humanoid enemy.

Try and mud wrestle a lion, a tiger, or a bear to death in real life, it's probably a bit difficult. You'd be at a disadvantage.  :P

It's just like in the game. The vast majority of the time, the critter is going to eat you. But if you get lucky and GET A LOCK on the damn thing... It's fucked.

People have done it. We didn't earn our spot as apex predator of apex predators just by being smart. We're also surprisingly developed in the brutal fisticuff murder department, although most people now don't get the kind of workouts our ancestors did to be able to best a potentially much stronger animal in melee.

Weird camera angle suddenly reversed my controls, making me fly back in to the giant whale that I was trying to escape from.

Sonic Adventure DX, the demo "A-type" version that mysteriously isn't available on Steam. My interest in the Sonic series is rising, but I'm having a job of trying to find a Sonic game that I like enough to buy.

Stay away from any one that isn't Generations or a 2D game.

Most fans will also recommend Sonic Adventure 2 and sometimes Sonic Adventure 1.

SA 1's a little buggy, I think. Also, you need a gamepad to play these games. I've got SA2 for PC and getting through the fifth stage is tough due to not being able to control my dude properly.

I think I heard that, for our musclemass, we're one of the strongest creatures on the planet.

It's just that most of our "predators" are even bigger. And we don't get workouts anymore, nor learn how to fight.

But you don't even have to kill something to scare it off. As soon as the animal judges that it would spend more energy killing you than it would get from eating you it'll give up and run. That means facepunching a bear is a valid strategy for survival... if you can manage to get in close enough and quick enough to actually land the punch.

Not that most thing eat us any more. Most every animal on the planet has had substantial time to learn that humans are not to be fucked with unless absolutely necessary. Any animal attacking you has either never seen humans before or is hurting in some manner that makes eating you a option. And if there are multiple people with you you are basically a living mass of pure terror for most animals.

Saw a bloodstain.  Interested, I touched it and followed the ghost.  Unfortunately he led me straight off a cliff and I died because I just missed a ledge by a foot.

Minecraft. Assorted Mod to increase difficulty. Hardcore mode. No Working on a Block a Tool can be used for (No cutting down trees without an Axe) Death number 20 and counting...

My First death was that to Zombies, same with the next 15. The Zombies have a higher level of AI with a Mod, now they know where I am if I bleed, Make a sound, Attack One, Am seen. AND THEY TELL THEIR FRIENDS!!!

I have also died to that of the Haunted Tools. Floating Tools that attack you but if you kill them you get them...

I was a level 2 high elf, and I was out of mana. I saw Terence coming for me, so I quickly used my teleport scroll.
I teleported right between a kobold and giant gecko, so I tried to run away. Then came along an adder, and I died from poison.
