Finally got X-com Enemy Unknown, and while not the first death or the last death this isthe deaths that caused that save to die horribly in a fire.
We enter to a small buisness type building, my 6 best agents fly down with the skyranger, Special agents, Bruce, Maddie, Brad and the one living member from the first mission, Moustachios, also 2 others who no one likes and weren't personally named..
They drop down into the parking lot, 3 sides surrounded by the building, suddenly several mutton's appear, no problem they think, until the number get into the double digits and a beserker appeared, they fought long and hard, but they fell one by one, grenades killed brad and an unnamed, Maddie was killed by the beserker, and Bruce died from plasma shots, even moustachios died, only one unnamed lived in the end, hiding behind the building, he died fighting valiantly while giving a speech to the boys back home about hope and determination, I made myself cry.
I tried again and it went mostly the same, except it was Brad who made it behind the building, he manged to get into the building through a back entrance and escaped to the skyranger with his life, but everyone else was dead, he died in his next mission in an abandoned train station against another beserker.
The project failed and he went un-mourned.
I restarted to an earlier save after that.
X-com enemy unknown, best 17 pounds ever spent.
