I was under the assumption snakes were usually venomous rather than poisonous, which would make their flesh quite safe to eat. I might just suck at biology, or you might just be horrible at cooking.

True, snakes are venomous, not poisonous... Well, I could always change the name of the 'snake eggs' item to 'rotten snake eggs' for the POISON tag to be more suitable.

But venom sacs are edible, though? They're only dangerous if your bloodstream is injected with their poison.

The civilians in the Chicago level kept getting in the way of my shots, allowing the G5 thugs to shoot back with impunity. I died twice from being shot, and had to restart at least four times due to accidentally capping a civilian. Not one of my favorite levels...

Venom needs injecting/absorbing through the skin.

Not to be "that guy" but poison can also get in to your body through absorbtion through the skin, or by inhalation.
although generally you're right as well, venom is injected, poison is absorbed, whether it's in your stomach lining or your skin, or your lungs.

And, knowing my luck, I've messed this up somewhere and will also be corrected...

Not my most recent death, but my latest annoying one, at least

So here I was, with the match just starting out on the Firing Range. My team and I are advancing through the buildings and pathways, with me waiting to greet the enemy with my Enfield Dual Mag, when all of a sudden, I randomly explode for no (immediately) apparent reason.

Watching and paying attention to that particular KillCam, I notice that my killer hurled an expertly-timed frag grenade in my general direction from halfway across the goddamn map.

I was not amused.
