my mistress and I decided on DYNAMIC ENTRY to a locked room. 3, 2, 1, KICK THE DOOR DOWN HOOARR.

I succeed because of my two +1 boots of strength. Mistress succeeds, because she's a good succubus type and presumably kicks people for a living.

Both doors boobytrapped. Massive explosion. I get ripped apart. Mistress bleeds out on the ground.

Jumped through a space-time vortex that I created with my mind, and appeared in front of gun turret, which shot me down before I could get within range to omit a natural EMP.

Got my squad, including the founder, killed while trying to escape from a single police officer (two instant-death gunshots, one capture-and-beat-to-death). Everyone left except one kid who had a guitar and a music skill of just 8. So I figured maybe I could convince someone to join up through the power of music.

First attempt against a conservative clerk: He turned the tables on me and made the kid begin weeping about how futile the liberal cause was. We were disbanded immediately.

So I decided to try out IVAN.
I went into the dungeon and smacked a few zombies around. Then I found some armor, and an axe.
That's when I started tripping on webs.
Today, I learned: Where there are webs, there are spiders that will pump your torso full of toxins and turn your ass into a human happy meal.

Fighting some undead, game auto-paused because my health got low, and somehow I managed to unequipt my sword/shield and was fighting the last one unarmed.  I died.

And I am now at a point a couple hours behind where I was... I REALLY need to start saving more.

Took around 10 bullets in a firefight at a shrine, shredding my iron armor and putting me around 3 hp, so I run the fuck away to a room I already cleared. Cultists and zombies smash down the doors, I kill 10 or so with my tommy gun, then run out of bullets. Then the walls fucking explode, there are rats, cultists, zombies, byakees, and other shit everywhere, and I'm down to 1 hp. I knew I would die, so I light some dynamite, pull my +3 sword, and charge the enemy, dodge a shotgun blast, cutting down an acolyte, Brown Jenkins, and a cultist before exploding and killing everything in the room, myself included. Thus ends the tale of Urist McInvestigator. He died a fucking awesome death.

Locked myself in a corner with forcefields and fired at a quillipeed and rustacean until I ran out of ammo for my revolvers and bow, and was quilled to death.
