Cut to ribbons despite being far more skilled.

Four vs 1 on King Arthur's Gold. Surprisingly, I managed to kill 3 before falling myself.

Pushed my battered army into Deneb City. Didn't feel like going through the whole motion of running the attack myself, so I clicked on Otto-play(autoplay).

Otto decides to charge all the artillery forward. All of it, including the heavy artillery that can't move and shoot on the same turn. And then he retreats everyone else, leaving the artillery to be slaughtered.

Otto is now in front of a firing line. Made of cannons.


And that was after all but one of the remaining Great Powers decided to declare war on me.

Ate a helicopter blade while fooling around with the others from the top of the Airport Terminal with an RPG in Free Mode. Its funny how we all just keep killing each other, no matter how many cops show up.

What?! Take itself less seriously? :o
That was the massive problem with the previous games, they were silly and unrealistic. GTA4 was still kinda silly, but it was a step in the right direction at least. Here's hoping number 5 is a gritty crime drama, and then I might actually become a fan!

Usage of the word realistic or any of its common derivatives and variants renders your argument invalid. You should try L.A. Noire.

Fell off a cliff and died. Before that, it was suiciding running through aliens that shoot lightning with packs of dogs into an area where legendary players live on as NPCs to attempt to mutate.

The storyline was dark and SRS BSNS.
The gameplay was insane and over the top.
These two things do not mesh well.

Met an Atlas face-to-face. Missile boat Catapults are not meant for CQC, ones using XL engines less so.

Finally got my men good enough to regularly wreck Mutons and the occasional berzerker. Terror Mission comes up, and my best man in in the psi pods getting screened (side note, he did not have the gift) No worries, the others are strong enough, not like there's anything else on the roster for them to throw at me besides the Etherials, and I know those guys don't show up for awile.

So I was grinding up some levels, money, equipment and spells and also remembered to brew extra health/energy potions, and I felt powerful.

Yet Limoncelli&co. STILL kicked my ass.

Wow, I don't remember this fight being that hard last time I played...
