So i was flying my ship through a rather hostile sector when i suddenly was boarded by 3 rock dudes. The screwed shit up and i got my crew to hide in the engine. The intruders fucked alot of shit up, so i tried spacing them, wich didnt help. They got my door controller, and everything else. Then 1 ran into the engine, he died quickly. Then the two other came, they died too. But now my crew was stuck in the engine, with all systems dead and the o2 slowly draining. Fuck.

Always hide in the medbay. The heal boost will allow you to kill lots of stuff, and offsets O2 problems. On the basic ship it is even strong enough to allow you to reach the oxygen generator and repair it.

I got caught by the rebel fleet on my first play through and had a nearly standard kessel(sp?) frigate versus one of their elite fights. The game was running slow and i just decided to give up instead of seeing my end.

*Ahem* So, Johnny Klebitz (Or however the hell you spell it) was cruisin' away on his hog after evading a drug bust.
Foolishly, however, after escaping an army of cops by the skin of his teeth, he was talking on his phone whilst driving(riding?).

I went up a hill towards a road, since the chase had ended me up in some remote dock area, and BAM! Front wheel slips up, bike crushes poor Johnny into the hill. Whoopsies. Guess he needs a handsfree setup or something... At least when on low health.

GTA4: Lost and Damned.

I'm so glad I at least finished that mission first. That was SO. DAMN. FRUSTRATING. My forhead is still a bit tender from the beating it took from my palm as I failed miserably so many times.
Eventually I just bought body armour, said 'fuck you' to everything and jumped out a 4th-floor window to escape. It worked, somehow.

Crashed a rocket loaded with about 10 Cluster Nukes. Wow, that was a mistake.

Cortex Command, with Shook's Huge Pack of Mods. FPS death, until the blasts hit my brain. Then it was real death.

Plus, many more deaths trying some of the stuff in that mod.

My team was leading a large group of civilians out of a zombie-infested area, when a zombie runs up and attacks my lead man.  He smashes down the zombie with a sledgehammer, but a alien emerges from the corpse and strikes him down.  He drops the unstable compound he is carrying, and it explodes, wiping out my whole team.  This causes the similar compounds carried by the rest of my team - we got them out of an abandoned laboratory, and were using them as grenades - to explode as well, killing most of the civilians following us and leveling a block and a half.

Don't get me wrong, I think I'd love that game if I could go ten feet without getting murdered by giant wasps, zombies, wolves, or police robots.

The issue with cataclysm is that stuff needed for mundane tasks is rediculously dangerous to get.

you had the schizophrenia or asthma debuff in cataclysm?

they really annoy me, but they are necessary for my working build. and by working, I mean not dying in one day.
